Lowe's Advantage approved work to be done by Buddy's Plumbing and Appliances in Antlers, OK, on 11 Jan 2007. They promise to pay them for work done after each contact, however they have not been paid by Lowe's Advantage to date. I just wanted to write a letter in response to all the complaints I've been reading re: rainsoft here in Louisiana. First of all these complaints are over a year old. This company was recently bought (in Sept. of '07 from what they said) and is now locally owned and operated. This company is also no longer associated with Discovery Marketing. I am a regular customer of HP LPGas. In Nagpur I get it from NGDA Services located at CA Road, Nr. Gitanjali Cinema. This distributor is the most pathetic and irresponsible I have ever seen in my life. These people never pick up the phone calls made for logging the requirement for refill gas cylinders which is the basic household utility. Moreover when I visited his office, these people along with the manager replied me that its not their duty to take up the calls for refill connections. Original Service Call: 10/13/07 (F70 error code and would not work). The Service Tech thought he was there to fix a washer and said he never had to work on a Duet dryer. Gas for central heating and cooking ordered November still not received (contract is 7 days) 28th December. We now have no gas only a log fire and temperatures are below freezing at night. This company company's customer service is absolutely horrible. I paid over five hundred dollars for them to check my sentricon baiting system for termites and I get only excuses as to why they don't come out and check my stations. About a year and a half ago, Blue Ridge electric, a utility supplier did enter our property, by a private drive marked no trespass and did mow across a field and up and down the hill that was above our stream. After receiving a verbal $300 estimate to have my leaves raked and removed from my yard, I hired this company to do the work. Yesterday, I received a bill for $989!!! When, I expressed surprise and dismay, the owner told me that I was "stupid" because I had relied on his estimate and agreed to pay by the man hour. We have reached a compromise. Had issues in washing machine WASHER - F-65 and after 2 years its bearing makes a lot of sound. I complained and Service Center is not giving exact reason for such a quick worn out of bearing. When we moved into our home we purchased new appliances for our kitchen-all Whirlpool Gold. I had a service call within the first three months for the electric stove saying it didn't heat properly. Two technicians were sent to our home and told me it showed the proper heat level. I stood my ground saying it may be working ok right now, but it doesn't always hold it's temperature. Purchased an LG dishwasher. After 3 service calls they replaced it!! The one they replaced quit working after 18 months, this was an $800 dishwasher!! They refused to do anything to make it right.
