i perchased a sofa and chair from scs, metro centre, it arrived a week befor
christmas 2010 it was set up by the delivery men and after they left i sat down on the chair and it just sank as if there was no support underneath
i phoned the shop and told some one would come out to check it over, it
was in february 2011 befor they called and said they would repair it i refused
and he left so i complained to head office 6 weeks later i am told by them
their man found no problems so thats the kind of shop they are as much to
say we dont want to know. so now i will be seeking legal advice. read full review »

My husband went to lowes in robinson township pennsylvania every week for the past month to see if there was any sale on garage doors. Last week he was told by a lowes employee that there was no sale at the time and none upcoming that he knew of. My husband even left his phone number with the employee asking that he call him if there was a sale. We purchased a Whirlpool washer and dryer from Lowe's in April 2008 and bought the extended warranty service contract--they call it Lowe's Service Advantage -- what a joke! Our washer began malfunctioning 2 months ago. We read on the web about the problem and verified that this was what was wrong. We called Lowe's Service Advantage to schedule repair. With the new refrigerator's filter asking to be changed, I had bought from Conn's a new backup filter for that occasion. It was not the correct filter. After repeated calls, visits to the store, to their main office in Beaumont I finally found someone, many months later, after giving up on replacing the filter, that refunded my money. We thought we did eveything right. We spoke to references. We shoudlhave realized after the first month that something was wrong but George has an excuse and a story for everything. (George could sell ice to the eskimos) . While I beleive my husband an d I are intelligent people we have met along the way many intellgent people who have fallen for his stories and promises.

A dishwasher, purchased new from Conn's had hoes that sprayed water in back of cabinet. When I caught it I called for service. Besides their not taking responsibility for the installation or lack of, which is not longer under warranty, which was their fault in the first place, unless I should go into the appliance repair business. They also ripped new holes in the flooring that was originally ripped by them on the original installation of the dishwasher. They also tore hoes in the counter top. Worst purchase I have ever made. Whirlpool Cabrio washer machine is worthless. This machine fails to operate: always out of balance, adds grease marks to clean clothes, takes an hour to wash whites, and the list goes on. It has been several weeks now that the washer stopped working and Lowes is still waiting to complete repair. Lowes extended warranty is a joke. According to a signed contract, Delcardo Botswana has manufactured and installed a custom made kitchen cupboards. Kitchen worktops are supposed to be made of proprietary Caesar Stone (stipulated in the contract), but material used is poorly sealed indian knock-off which deteriorated within the 3 weeks upon full payment from my side. Now, Mr Mario de Sousa (owner and manager of Delcardo Botswana) is avoiding to replace the material and/or refund the cost for replacement. Once I received the Redi Set Go, the first problem was the bottom pan coating started coming off. Yes, I did season the pan. Then the timer come lose and I did not know how long I was cooking without using a regular timer. Part of the exterior paint popped off. While cooking a steak, the knob melted off. My NIPSCO bill was generated on 8/13/2010 stating that I had a past due amount of 266.53, total amount due of 447.84 and 181.31 due on 9/2/2010. Meter reading date was between the 13th and 15th.
Nipsco's customer service manual states that they MUST send a disconnection notice and they can't disconnect until 14 days have passed from the issue of the disconnection notice.

We purchased a king mattress set on Feburary 21, 2011. I was delivered Thursday March 3, 2011. On Friday March 4, 2011 I phoned the salesman Lyle and told him this could not be the same bed I tried in the store it is way too hard. He told me it had to be broke in.

This company repaired leaks on my roof 2 months ago with a 7year warranty attached. 3 week ago i noticed that one of the areas that was fixed was now leaking again so i phoned them. I spoke to the owner who said he would phone me back in a week to make a time and date to do the repairs . Almost 3 weeks later and i have not heard from them and now i cannot get hold of them at all. they do not answer their phones or reply to my emails and i don't know how i can get hold of them to come and do the repairs. We bought a mattress from Harvey Norman Mackay. Four months after purchase matress began to faulter with great big dips in it and ridges. We contacted store and they arranged because it was under warranty to get it fixed by manufacturing company. It had to be carted 1000km away we were without bed for 8 weeks. Bought what was advertised as a FIRM mattress by Aireloom of Beverly Hills, a Rip Van Winkle in late Aug. 2009. Haynes furniture had a huge sign in front of the mattress, a queen size dislay model with box springs, saying it was FIRM. Laid on it for a couple of visits. I really enjoy drinking the Tropicana varieties of lite orange drink, lemon aid and the berry flavor. NOW! it's being pulled from the shelves and being replaces with a lesser quality drink called Brisk...yeck! Not as good. Who's the BRAINIAC the thought that was a good idea. When I was going over the initial contract with the salesman prior to installation, he explained to me about the initial 3 year contract period, but then told me that the contract would automatically renew itself on a month to month basis. LG has sub-par product & service. Bought side by side LSC27931st fridge 1 year ago & from day 1 had ice maker problems(grinding/clogging, & at the end of the year-just avalanching ice on the floor in the middle of the night). They sent techs out every other month, but at the end of the year it was no better than when it was new. Last time I called (4/1/2011) they said it had been over a year & the initial warranty had expired & COULD NOT send anyone else out!!! read full review »

I have learnt it the hard way.
He signed a contract to refinish my wooden floor, new molding, redo my two bathrooms, paint interiors, install & paint stair bannisters, lay tiles in foyer etc.
Results:
Bathrooms-Bath 1 -New bathtub installed inclined. Water pools where tub corner meets wall leading to water damage.
Drywall installed improperly. Also installed drywall over a/c vent. So no more heat in my bathroom.

Apartment with full of mouses and never been resolved by apartment leasing management even with may complaints.
Management used to send the pest control team to look at the issue, and they used to give us mouse traps but not more than that.
the issue we are facing past 9 months and it is not all resoved and when we request management to show new apartment in the community, they said no availability and at the end of the lease term, they are saying to move out of apartment with out any respect.
