In April 2010 we purchased flooring for all 4 bedrooms, stairs and hall. Floors to Go's installers were great, they did a good job installing hardwood stairs and hall plus one bedroom, as well as carpet in the other 3 bedrooms. I purchased an Aerogarden for my husband for Christmas. The shipping box was not damaged, but the actual Aerogarden packaging looked like it had been dropped, it was all crushed on one side. Alarman's prices are extremely high, we were quoted R22000 to fix our alarm which is only worth about R12000.00. It takes them days to fix something. They also charge you full price for computer software for your alarm but don't give you the originals which is what you paid for, but copies of the software, this is fraud and totally unacceptable. Installers of a window in my newly fitted kitchen stood on the granite counter top (despite having a ladder to use) and cracked the granite in two places. When I spoke to the company owner the next day (a Saturday) he said he was so sorry and he was 'committed to fixing this for me'. By Monday they had done an about face and refused to pay for the damage which totalled R6000 and said that the quote excludes 'consequential damages'. Lawyers told me this is not consequential damages but gross negligence. On Sept. 3, 2010, Clozermatic service people gave a $433 estimate for the replacement of a garage door panel and new key pad. We recently moved out of our apartment at the Gardens at Polaris in Ohio. This past November 2010 I used a company called "Christ Ian Construction and Roofing" located in Grafton Ohio. Owner Robert Laurence and his crew did such a poor job that by the time the first snow fall it was leaking in 5 different area's. Big mistake. 2 1/2 weeks later and numerous calls to customer service and the order is no closer to being onsite than the day I placed the ordered.
