I placed an order with Components Direct for nearly $2000 dollars. I was a little nervous after reading the reviews. The next day after the order was placed I got a call from Jeff. The 4 cdrom kits that I ordered were out of stock. Jeff substituted a more expensive kit that was in stock and didn't charge me for the difference. I am pleased with the customer service and the speed of delivery on the order. I will continue to order products from this company. I placed the order, they tried to charge me $14 shipping, instead of $4. They said they would adjust it later. Then, after waiting for 3 days, I checked the status, and they had cancelled the order! Avoid these idiots like the plague! I ordered a humidifier that attaches to my furnace. They sent me one that was used. It had hair and lint stuck in the gum that holds the parts envelope closed and the whole thing smelled like mildew. It was disgusting. I emailed and asked for a replacement. I sent it back to them and got an email stating that they had received it. After ten days of not hearing from them, I emailed again. They said that it was processing. Another ten days passed and I called and demanded a refund. They gave me the purchase price only. I got screwed out of $20 shipping costs because they sell garbage. read full review »

I contacted UPS, processed a damage request, and never heard back from colorcases. No amount of calls or emails could get them to provide me with the case i paid for. I ordered from this company twice. Both orders arrived at a timely fashion. One of the heatsink I ordered dont fit well on my boxed/retail CPU, so I wrote them if I could have an exchange. The email was answered within one day and no question asked. I sent the heatsink back, got a different (better) product within 5 days. The price difference was taken care of nicely. These people are efficient! They might not have the best price for some of their products, but I appreciated their way of handling RMA. Very efficient. Watch out for these guys. I ordered an item and paid extra for "express" shipping. Unfortunately, that still gives them the right to wait 5 business days before shipping your (in stock) item. Add on 5 days for UPS, and my "express" shipping took 10 business days to arrive. Also, terrible customer service. Ordered a TV stand on 7/9 listed 'in stock' on the website. With the 1st time buyer/free shipping code (that they advertise repeatedly on the site), it was a good deal. Over four months ago I purchased O2 Optix contacts from Coastal Contacts. I received the correct contacts in the mail within about a week of purchase. At the time Coastal Contacts was offering a $60 rebate, so I filled out the form and mailed it in about 14 weeks ago. The rebate form explicitly states that the rebate would be issued in 6-8 weeks. Last August I bought two Kodak DVC323 webcameras from them. At the time the cameras were at a really good price (about $40 less than retail and $20 less than any other online store I checked out). The cameras arrived within 3 days and were in good working order. HOWEVER, I did not receive any type of receipt for these cameras (only a packing invoice). I received a rebate check and when I deposited it in my checking account it came back as having insufficient funds. My checking account was charged for this. I called ClubIt and they told me they would reimburse me. They lied! I had never, in more than thirty years, had a bad charge on my checking account. This post is to warn others about a particular Forex Broker, MIGFX.CH, and all brokers in general from my perspective. MIGFX advertises the tightest spreads I can find with any broker, with 5 at 2 pips, and 5 more at 3 pips, and up from there, on more than 30 currency pairs. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I actually told them that I would come pick up my CDR and they CHARGED me like 3.25 saying that there is a "pick-up fee". What kind of business is this?! When I walked in, I could not believe the place that this was held at because it was a complete shithole. DO NOT BUY FROM CLICKINKS!!! I purchased toner for my fax from them under the promotion "Buy 2 Get 1 FREE cartridge offer". It came with a slip that I sent back with the 4 used cartridges and was supposed to get 2 free. This was the second time I ordered from them. First time I experienced how their return policy sucked! You have to pay for the return shipping even if the product is defective. I ordered a Kenko 8x32 scope for my Nikon Coolpix 950 and a tripod adapter from CKC Power. When I called and placed my order Tom was very friendly and helpful. He did tell me that the scopes were on order and there would be a delay. I bought a disfunctional Epox motherboard from Citrus Micro. It didn't boot, there was no display, the CD tray would lock up, etc. I did receive an RMA from Epox but after the "repair" the motherboard showed no sign of improvement whatsoever. I think they just repackaged it and sent it back. I wanted to get at least some money back from either Citrus Micro or Epox but all my emails and phone calls were ignored. We purchased a Scorpio case item 3 cc868w on june 20 04. The undamaged box arrived june 25. Upon opening the box we found the proper case with the front cover hanging on by 1 screw, 3 of the 4 snap-in pins were broken off.(none of the broken parts or screws were in the packaging. Upon further examination we saw screw marks where 2 drives and the MB standoffs had been installed and removed, all 7 of the PCI card access cover werew also punched out. Not good at all. I thought from the previous ratings that I would get good service. Apparently not. I ordered a case from them, and phoned them a couple of days later saying "I understand that this wouldn't be an in stock item, can I get an idea on when it might ship?" 30 risk free days - 100% refund??? The day after I ordered they drew my money out of my bank. Then when I asked they said it was just on hold which was a flat out lie because the bank said they had already took it out. Then I found out the jacks would not work because I have dial up. So the day I received them I turned around and sent them back with mail confirmation. The day they were confirmed I called to see when my money would be returned and they said from 3 to 5 business days. My question is WHY ? They didn't wait to take my money for 3 to 5 business days. Beware of buying this or any other products from this company, as they are prone to use false advertising. Moments after ordering some of the Lake City 5.56mm ammo, I read other postings on their very own website that said 5.56 should not be used in weapons chambered for .223. Seems I've been lucky; I ordered an Archos AV420, with speed delivery, and though it took 5 weeks, about 15 e-mails, fictuous routing numbers and a lot of grief, I did receive my order. Seems they import illegally (with false custom declaration) from the US; the package said it containted a 'used CD player valued at US$30' when it was a US$ 600 item! I needed a CPU for a customers unit that was on my bench, and I couldnt wait for 3 days to get it. so I drove to this companys location in Stillwater, Okalhoma. I placed an order with CellularKing.com on October 27th. My credit card was charged and I never recieved my order (cell phone case). Try the 2 phone numbers on the web site one just randg and rang the other was not in service. I also called PayPal - they suggested I call my credit card company to dispute the charge. I emailed Cellularking about this on 11/07/08 and never recieved an answer. Now I am having to go thru the process of disputing the charge on my Visa.
