I take all the blame for being stupid and responding to an online survey. The promotional offer was 2 lb of coffee plus a coffee grinder for $9. It sounded like a good deal. Somewhere in the fine print was a $25 membership fee. I was charged $34.00 on Jan 30. I went on line to check my credit card bill and saw this charge plus another on Feb 7. At first I was somewhat apprehensive about ordering from SavingCity because the DVD's are manufactured in another country. Bought Model WCP8 - 8 bottle countertop wine cooler in September 2005. 11 months later, in August 2006, came home to find the wine cooler at 84 degrees! This complaint is on FerrellGas 1579, 350 Roger St., Princeton, WV. We paid over $3100 for 3/4 of our 2007 winter propane on 4/24/06 with an agreement to be automatically filled every 30 days. We have had to call for each fill up, then put in line for another 7 to 10 days before delivery. A 30 day fill up was due on 1/22/07. I have lifetime prepaid connection of airtel (Maharashtra & Goa). My prepaid credit is daily decremented by Rs.1.50 as airtel have activated daily decremental plan. I have made 8 requests to customer care executive to deactivate that decremental plan and activate my original lifetime plan. I purchased Tata Indicom India Calling card of Rs 200. I used it for 10 days. After that I am not able to use that card. For using this card one has to dial the access number of the state from where we have purchased the card. In my case it is Maharashtra. For all the much vaunted customer service of Airtel, I had (and continue to have) a bitter experience with Airtel. All this for a shifting of telephone within Chennai. I was promised it would take 6 working days, and after 2 weeks there is no end in sight. I recently purchased a set of Harbor Breeze Philodendron custom fan blades (part # 124662) at a local Lowe's. Got them home and then found out they would not mount on my existing Harbor Breeze ceiling fan. The holes in the custom blade are grouped closer together than the standard Breeze motor. Went back to Lowe's to see about buying the proper fan mount brackets, but found out they are not sold separately for the above model blade. In Jan 07 I ordered Vonage phone service, when it got here it was a headphone set that you used at a computer, it had a key to plug in the front of the computer so you could take it where ever you wanted that had high speed internet. This causes shortage of supply and partially filled up supply of domestic cylinders to the genuine customer. I purchased two calling cards of Tata Indicom of Rs 100 each. When i tried to use those cards, i found its PIN number was incorrect. I called up customer care ( 12678) and lodged complaint on 19/01/2007 with complaint number 5755 but till now i have not got new PIN numbers as promised to me by customer care executives. I purchased a new airtel connection postpaid in Nov 06 particularly for GPRS Mobile internet. From day one till date (06 Feb 07), i am unable to connect to GPRS as normally as my colleagues do. They send a brochure that you have to pay for. They then use the credit card info to bill customer for fictitious services. Back in May 2006, I asked for an OSactionline brochure to be sent to my home and I paid the postage using my credit card. Best Buy sold me a replacement contract for my son’s ipod. They said it would replace the unit “no matter what”. Untrue, when I called the 800 number on the contract I was told by a third party representative that BB no longer honors any replacements of items valued over $300. They will only try and fix it. You know those sites, which sell products and have no responsibility of what they sell. Their motto is "we sell it, you buy it, we get your money and hell with your satisfaction". This is how Speedypin functions. I purchased prepaid phone card STi Free from their site. The card acted weird, minutes were disappearing even without taking. When I made calls, I was charged 4 times more than I've talked in reality. I contacted both carrier reps and sellers.
