I had bought my Tata Walky (64145454) from M/s. Tirupati Mobiles, Ashirwad Chowk, Dwarka Sector 4, Delhi on 27 Nov 06 for Rs.1850/-. Within 3 days the phone stopped working despite me having furnished the necessary documents for identity proof. I've a Airtel Prepaid card of Friends scheme card with 2 of my other friends. I opted for CUG Benefits, but could not avail them. Due to this, the Calling rate within the group which should have been 10 Paise is instead 1/- (10 times higher). I complained about it... and even after 9 days of the complaining movie going on, and talking to all the people out there, including CCS, Floor Supervisors, TL and Asst. I sent my friend $180.00. He lives in Brazil and after waiting for the check for 2 months, he finally received it only to learn that he could not cash it anywhere in Brazil. Why would paypal send him a check he could not cash? They knew it! My friend even tried cashing it at a Citibank and could not. Both of us have called and written paypal many times and after many different excuses, have not had any success in getting my money returned to my checking account (where it was withdrawn). For the last one year I find the 115.2 kbps speed of walky is truly a false. Probably inbuilt feature. Most of the time the speed lowers to several bytes only (much below 1 kbps/s). Its hard to work with such internet. Upon repeated complains there is no solution to this problem. To download important files I pay to local cafe. 1) False advertising. The “competing bids” I received turned out to be between Omar and Ryan who both work for the same company. 2) Nice salesman who stopped communication once he got his fee. He underestimated the weight of my move by 1/3. I paid extra, informing Doxy Lingerie that I would be out of the country after the 8th of December and needed my shipment sent ASAP. I wanted to have Internet connection from Reliance. One person Sanjeev from Reliance came to me for this. He told that reliance box is at my building's roof, so internet connection will be given very fast within 3 days. He collected cheque for the same around 19th Oct, 2006. After paying several hundred dollars for these machines that are later discovered to be producing dangerous levels of ozone in my home I then find out that to make these “health threatening” machines safer I have to pay out an additional $39.99 (PER machine) for a grid devise that Sharper Image says should fix the high levels of ozone they produce. I called to book my Air Tickets through an agent called 'Make My Trip.com'. I had to call them to know the status of my tickets later. Per the agency website, 18001028747 is a Airtel toll free number. I called to them on Jan 02, 2007 at 10:07 P.m. The call went for 14 minutes and to my surprise, I was charged Rs.140 @ the rate of 10/min. I am one of the BSNL Bangalore customers for the past 6+ years. I have applied for shifting during May 2006. I got the shifting after 5 months of continuous follow-up. That too they have provided temporary connection from one of the near by pole. It worked for few days and stopped working since 21st December 2006. They are very inventive and have a different story to tell you every time you inquire about the "gift card credit" they are supposedly sending you. I was told that my request for an adjustment for an overcharge would be on my credit card. Then I was told that instead it would come as a gift card and I could expect to receive it in 3-5 days That was Dec. 13. During my 2 years of service with sprint pcs, I was told that the only way for me to make payments to my account was to go to a sprint center or mail a check. I tried to change this so I might make payments on-line or over the phone. The company's customer service REP. told me this was impossible. When my contract expired I switched to Verizon. I purchased an acrylic bath and tub liner from Bathroom Crafters in Lombard IL. When I noticed the spnoge feeling in my tub , I called for service . The first response was to re-drain and re-caulk. Again, the same problem, again the same solution. We were moving only 4.4 miles, but thought it a good idea to let professionals handle the big stuff. I saw the impressive 2-page ad for All My Sons and arranged for three men and a truck. I'm once again trying Firefox. I keep reading reviews on it, on how good it is and I see all the extensions you can use with it, that you can't use with Avant Browser. Firefox is slow compared to Avant. I keep getting these reset connection errors that I never get with Avant. the 2 browsers are alot alike, they both have tabbed pages, everything generally is the same except it's slower for some reason loading pages. I guess I will once again uninstall Firefox and go back to Avant. Hopefully Avant some day will make some extensions you can use. read full review »
