After six months of Verizon FIOS VOIP serive, I am pretty disgusted and want go back to traditional service. I find Verizon FIOS VOIP to be unreliable. I have to reboot the phone adapter several times a week to keep it up and running, and even then, incoming calls dont connect. WARNING: They have the better business bureau seal on their website, but when I researched them on the BBB (too late) it said they were not a member. Cannot login to website as it is asking for userid which was not given by their web registration system. The service suck. I ordered a camcorder from TheDigitalExpo.com, and was a bit surprised when my confirmation email said that I had to call an 800 number to confirm my order. Please do not waste money on Airtel callhome to India. There is nothing about this company that works. The acct number and pin number they give you do not work, their customer service phone never works. They do not respond to your E mail. They took my money 20 dollars, i have yet to make a phone call. I bought phonecard online and paid by credit card. instantly they provided me with my pin number and deducted money from my account. When i called the provided tollfree access number it was not working. As soon it connects it dies. I tried calling customer care and same thing happened with the customer support number. I never knew that AIRTEL would act so irresponsibly towards customers. This is the first time they came into the long distance call arena and i thought they would do it with a bang... We subscribed to the Airtel India call home service because it is basically a Indian company and it was offering a good rate as compare to reliance India. The number given to access India phone number doesn't work at all. Customer care number comes as busy. Do not use the online service provided by USPS for printing and posting. I used and the Labels did not print properly. But they charged my credit card. I requested for a refund and it has been some days and nothing has come. If you want to save on the tracking confirmation just print the labels without postage and pay the postage at the post office. read full review »

I signed up for Airtel Call home lured by their offer of 7.9c a min with double the talk time for the signup and the first recharge till Jan 31. making it an effective rate of ~4c a min to call India from the US. They post false verifications (ie Bizrate logo) - check - they don't link anywhere. They disconnected their phone number, emails to them return undeliverable, they are not rated by the better business bureau, and they have no physical address (just a PO Box). I hired EBZ Moving and Storage to complete a 12-mile residential in-state move on 12/29/04. I have my account in the airtel call home where I can call India. Since the first day, the website doesn't work properly. It nearly took me 3 hrs just to log in. I have paid 50$ for registering in it. Now my password is locked and the customer care number 1877 247 5150 does not even work. There is a place in website where we can lodge complaint or give feedback. Even the website is not allowing me enter any information. I tell, this is the worst website design and customer care. This is very pathetic situation, that we cannot expect from such a big customer caring company like tata. I had the STD pckg at rental of Rs.30 p/m.Whereby any airtel no i called all over India, i was just charged Re.1 only. I contacted Maytag at (866) 212-9733, gave them my certificate number of the extended coverage contract that is good through the end of 09/06/2008 and was advised that they no longer cover the Sky Box. Signed up in SEPTEMBER for my current number to be ported and switched over to ECR Voice. Sent in appropriate forms TWICE - customer service acknowledge receipt. Just a warning to those doing some last minute christmas card ordering online at Target.com. I would recommend calling ahead to make sure the location you choose for pickup can accommodate your order. We placed our order 3 days ago for a set of xmas cards, 1 hour processing time. Last nightI bought a Martha Stewart pre lit 4 ft.christmas tree that originally sold for 59.99. Tonight, the entire top section of lights are not working. They have great rate of 7.9 c per minute with a promotional offer of doubling your balance on the first purchase and the first recharge before Jan 1st and Jan 31st respectively.
