Gave a $2885 deposit to Tarik Mese, salesperson for Zone 5 Inc, former employee of SSMF April 20, 2007 for replacement of 4 large windows/2 large glass sliding doors for my North Miami Condo. As the months went by it got harder and harder to reach Tarik Mese or Wallace Lawson, Owner of Zone 5. The business number has been disconnected. In December of 2006 I purchased a 2007 Chevrolet Corvette as well as purchasing the extended warranty. A few months ago the coupe top started to make a real bad creeping noise. I had accumulated a lot of debt on my credit card. I transferred the balance to a lower rate to pay the balance off. I was reducing the amount by making 500.00 payments per month on a minmum payment of 200.00. I didn't notice that the credit card company changed the grace period from 28 days to 20 days and that caused my payment to be late, which automatically bumped the interest rate to 26.75% ! The Belle Mer is a beautiful facility. However, we had met with the wedding coordinator and asked all the necessary questions concerning costs. When we received the contract, Bell Mer added an additional $7,500 setup fee we were not told about. I personal think this is a little steep. I have spoken with other facilities which have not tacked on such a ridiculous fee. It would have been one thing to have been told up front about the fee, but to find it on the contract as if it was just slipped in there, really aggrevated me. I droppped off a two piece navy blue pant suite to be dry cleaned. When I picked up the item, the pants were damaged, the pants now looks like they are two different colors.
