I purchased a $900.00 set of gas (propane) logs from Ener-G-Tech in mid- November. I needed the logs and a propane tank installed. I asked the salesperson (you must be waited on by a salesperson, this business is not self-service)if they install. He informed me they had a list of plumbers they recommend. This man was to send me 3 "processed cords" of wood and the price was $465.00. When the driver arrived, he was having trouble getting it out of the dump truck, (was frozen or something), and I had to leave to drive my son to work. When I returned, I was shocked to see so little wood in my driveway. There might be 1.5 cord of wood. The man running this company will not talk to me and has blocked my calls. I special ordered a black brick on 4/27/06 both in the traditional square and bullnose. I arrived to pick up on Saturday 5/13/2006. I paid and loaded one pallet and took to the job site. Ditto for 2nd pallet. Upon returning to load the third pallet I noticed no bullnose. I could not complete the job and made the decision to use red brick. They advertise FREE trial pills, only shipping charges, but they charge the credit card $145 + shipping. If payment is refused, they turn it over to a collection agency, who will try to collect over $200. If they cannot collect, they report to credit agencies for seven years! I have had the worst experience with Directv. they try to lure you with all offers before you join but fail to fulfil them. On my Visa bill today I found a mysterious charge of 79.95 next to a 1-800 phone number. I called and found out this company, CIC or consumerinfo.com, has been charging me annually since 2002. I apparently filed for a credit report five years ago, which is true, and unknowingly signed up for some kind of credit monitoring service. I requested a free sample of Actipril (on-line I think). Three days after I received the sample, I received a full size supply of the product. Since then, I have received full size supplies each month for three months more. There is no information on the product on paperwork on how to cancel the mailing of product or the draw on my account. I purchased a claimed electronic torch on the website [ Ticket Number: SHOP-254292 ] and on delivery the material was fully damaged and not in working condition. On contacting the Indiatimes services there were evasive replies only. The consignment did not have a bill or maker's mark even. I ordered an e-bay cd from this company for $1.95, subsequently my credit card was debited for the $1.95 plus 2 further debits of $59.31 & another one for $ 20.16 under a different company name (pmkeywordsuccess.com), but same address. I got an email at work for free ring-tones; I signed up to get them but never. What I did get in the interim was an annoying joke of the day; then sometimes two or more would come in on a day. I have been unsuccessful in getting this stopped. How do you get from free rig tones (which never were provided) to sending unwanted test jokes that only serve to increase my phone bill. Too bad this isn't an honest company. I am certain that I am not the only person this has happened to. My contract was up for a possible renewal with mtn. I went to mtn the glen to renew my contract. I chose a nokia for business which i returned to the outlet within 48 hours. i was not happy with the features of the phone. in fact my personal view was that the phone is over marketed and the features were exaggerated. The outlet was not prepared to listen at my problem instead they disregarded my complaint and raised a lot of unjustified issues which i was never alerted nor do they exist in my contract. I purchased furniture from Wendy on Craigslist. She claimed the dining set was *NEW* and assured me that it was in excellent condition. I am using L7 fr the past six months - recently, I am facing a problem of the ring tome not audible even in "Loud" mode - sometimes, if I out off the instrument & restart, I am able to get the ring tone. Bought HP F380 printer/scanner/copier from Tesco's only to find that the ink ran out quick. I assumed that it came with a very small amount of ink for reasons of enhancing the sale of the printer and decided next time round would purchase a bigger amount of ink to last longer. I went to Chilis in North Brunswick, NJ tonight for the first time and I was served my drinks with bugs, not once but TWICE. The manager came over to our table and apologized. Then for some reason he (Mat) explained why or how there might have been drinks in our bugs...as if that was relevant to us as the customer. After that whole weird apology and explanation, he didn't even discount our bill...very unprofessional. It makes me wonder how people like that obtain a manager position. I've a Airtel Prepaid card of Friends scheme card with 2 of my other friends. I opted for CUG Benefits, but could not avail them. For the last one year I find the 115.2 kbps speed of walky is truly a false. Probably inbuilt feature. Most of the time the speed lowers to several bytes only (much below 1 kbps/s). Its hard to work with such internet. Upon repeated complains there is no solution to this problem. To download important files I pay to local cafe.
