Sears / Kenmore Side by Side Refrigerator
I bought a Sears Kenmore side by side model # 56546400 based on the Consumer Reports recommendation. I did not have it home a week and the first Jabil controller board burnt out. They replaced that, but 20 months later, it burnt out again. The repairman said boards almost never burn out...so what are the statistical odds of it happening to my refrigerator. AHS Home Warranty Company
I have insured an AC unit with AHS for 15 years, only to have my claim for replacement denied. The AHS rep said that the unit is "dirty, rusty, and has mold growing on it." The unit is an outdoor unit that is 25 years old. It is dirty and it is rusty, but the mold is growing around the pad that the unit is sitting on, not on the unit itself. The coil is leaking not because the unit is dirty, but because the unit is 25 years old and just worn out.
Please post this complaint so that the public will know that the AHS warranty is not worth the paper is written on. read full review »

We put this product on a customer's house and have been battling Alcoa for one year. It has cost us (the contractor) so much money on behalf of our customer. The customer never complained. We did. The representative already provided, I believe, three new batches already and they were all bad. It is sometimes the installer's fault, but not in this case. If you nail vinyl siding too tight and not in the right places, you can get a cosmetically unappealing result. That is not the case here. It is the SIDING. I bought a new Eureka Aquaguard water purifier with hard/soft water converter paying 15K. But just after 5 months of purchasing, it had several problems and I had to incessantly follow-up with the service people to get it rectified.

American Furniture repair man, said our leather furniture is painted and the paint is peeling. I told American furniture I had never heard of painting leather. Over the past 15 years I have purchased 2 vacuum cleaners from this store. I visited the store recently to purchase vacuum bags and was looking at the new Sebo upright vacuum. The owner offered to let me take the vacuum home and try it. I did take it home and returned it the following day. I decided against the purchase of the vacuum since it was not easy to use for edge cleaning or under furniture.

I but a circular couch on the 15 month plan. Seven months having the couch I have complained and complained of couch cushions breaking. I got no satisfaction and or replies. I have phoned and talked with manger. After 8 months, I have someone ordering parts to fix. I told them this is the worst service I ever received from them or anyone. Then when they finally did come out, they promised me professional carpet layers, which these guys were anything but. Stain Safe
I called them to let them know my 3 year old son wrote on our leather sofa with pen. I filed the claim the next day. They sent a tech out 3 weeks later. I called to find out what they would do since the tech could not get out the stain. He said the pen sat too long. They denied the claim. They told me the tech said it was permanent marker. BS. I am currently writing a response to that denial.

Kenmore Elite Washer
I purchased a top of the line washer and dryer in September 2006 along with a 5 year protection plan. I called Sears to set up an appointment for a technician to repair my washer as when I press the on button the machine does not power up.
My husband and I checked the outlet to be sure it is live and it is, therefore the problem lies within the washer. I was told that it would be a full week before a tech could check it out. I got Kenstar food processor last year in october and as luck would have it. I am disappointed in the attitude of the Sleepy's sales staff. I purchased a pillow on July 28, 2007 with an understanding from the salesman that I could return it within 21 days. When I returned to the store (Northern Blvd in Flushing), a different sales person and the manager told me that not only couldn't I return it, but I would not be able to exchange it for a correct size. This company is awful. I ordered Swivel Sweepers on 6/1/07 for delivery by 8/1/07. Still waiting. The ad for the sweeper says "all orders ship in 24 hours" The ad looks genuine, exactly like the TV infomercial. It turns out they change the rules after you buy, saying 30-60 days, but probably less than 15. You cannot cancel your order. I placed an order with Allure Furniture Designs in early July. It is now August 24 and I still have not received the entry console I ordered. When I called the company and received a voicemail message, my fraud antennae went up immediately. I've left three messages with the company and still have not received a return phone call. I contacted my credit card company today and they verified that Allure went ahead and charged my card earlier this month. How are companies like this allowed to remain in business? I purchased a Whirlpool Refrigerator (MASTER MIND)Model No.10618 Serial No. INA0718118 in the month of 25th June 2007. From the day 1 of the purchase lots of noise is coming from the refrigerator. We have made complaints many a times (6 times). Inspite of several complaints only once an engineer came from your company. He said that in Whirlpool the sound always comes. It is very noisy. I am a consumer of domestic gas registered with M/s Jyoti Gas Distributors Versova Mumbai Tel. No: 26332839. I have to book a refill and keep on waiting. I often make a reminder after about a week, but to no avail and finally I make a visit to the Distributer and give a request in person. State Alarm
The Alarm company called me a week ago around 3am to say my alarm was going off. I had not even armed it in two days. I told them it was not armed. A few minutes later the police and fire trucks showed up at my door. The alarm company swears it was my fault, I was sleeping. Well it happened again today, and I received verification from my phone company that my alarm never sent a signal.

Ewave. What a piece of garbage! We bought this when we remodeled our kitchen about 2 years ago and it was a problem from the start. It's the over the range model. I purchased the LA Futon from this company. The add stated complete futon and showed a beautiful cover... When I received the shipment which was only the shell of the futon. I bought an LG fridge 8/26/06 delivered 8/30/06. The fridge has not been able to make ice for 2 months. Service has been to my house 3 times and replaces parts and still no ice. For 1,800.00 I should be able to have the ice maker work. I called the service department several times and have asked to speak to a supervisor. I purchased a new Kenmore washer in Dec. '06. Almost exactly 8 months later, it started smoking, making a grinding noise, and stopped working. Sears says they cannot get a repair person to me until Sept. 6 - over 3 weeks later. I may hire another repair person and present Sears with the bill in small claims court. In December we purchased a Husky power washer 1750. Since that time it was used exactly 4 times.
It does not work, the on off switch does not work, the GFCI plug does not work.

Buyer beware. Thinking we spend an average 8 to 10 hrs in bed daily. Spending nearly $3000.00 on a Kingsdown mattress is justifiable. Thinking we would wake up each morning well rested. I'm a HPCL customer for last 7 years and on 20th August 2007 I have delivered a C-07 HP gas by my Gas Agency (Dona Paula Gas Agency Contact no. 0832 2453755 ) India, I had told to my gas agency that my gas tank life is September 2007 and my gas usage can be 2 months from the date of delivery and I don't want to take any risk of life. HPCL and Gas agency should not deliver such gas whose expiry date in one month from delivery.
