In August 2009, we received a package from C & N Imaging which contained Print cartridges. Our receptionist signed for the package without authorization. My husband and I bought the running stroller for $200+ and within a month it broke - couldn't fold it up any longer. We'd bought the "extended warranty" with Babies R Us which does NOTHING for you. Once the stroller breaks you have to contact Baby Trend and their policy is that you have to BUY another one, send in your receipt, and then they'll reimburse you the cost. I was contacted by Gallagher Bassett Services, Inc. in regards to an incident I had at the McDonald's in Lake Buena Vista, FL where they ruined my digital camera while I was on vacation at Disney from Idaho. They asked me to get a quote for service or replacement of my camera, which I did. They then contacted me telling me that the McDonald's where this occurred had no recollection of the incident and they weren't going to do anything about it. By this companies own admission my package did not arrive during the trial period according to their shipping department. Instead of taking care of the customer they dismissed any responsibility by telling me to hold the Post Office liable. I accepted a no risk trial membership in stamps.com which offered to give me $5.00 in stamps. I also purchased another $10.00 in stamps from them. When I tried to print the stamps, they were not centered on the forms and therefore could not be used. I called stamps.com to cancel my membership and get a refund. They sent forms for me to fill out in order to get a refund and told me that I had to keep my membership open until the refund was complete. I bought a 26 inch MTD snow blower 2 years ago. this would have been it's third season if it had started. Not being able to pull start it I decided to use the handy dandy electric starter. No such luck. When I opened the switch cover one of the screw heads was sheared off leaving the power wire undone. The cause of the motor not starting in the first place was that there was an inch of rust and sludge inside of the fuel tank. How it got there I'll never know. I ordered almost a $100 dollars of cables from Ezonecables.com and their emails claimed it shipped, but the package never arrived. They refuse to answer my emails so I can't get any type of tracking number to find out if the package was actually shipped or not. Their address is not posted on their website so I can't track them down or file a BBB complaint. I had to cancel my credit card and have them try to reverse the charges. What a hassle! Bought two-year subscription of a child's magazine called Jack and Jill. This was a gift and it wasn't until months after I purchased it that I was informed they received only two issues. I contacted the magazine and after several attempts to get help, they finally gave me a phone number to Unified Family Circulation. I have tried to resolve this error for over a year. My clock needed repair for going unusually fast (gaining 2-3- hours a week). The owner of Mark's Time said he would make repairs for [about] $225, to be picked up in a couple of weeks. I did so. WGES offers 1 or 2 year contracts - but lock customers in through automatic renewals with high fees to exit the service. I opted for one year, monitored the service and did not save money so decided to exit. I hired Matt Tighe from Tighe's Earth Moving a few years ago to help make a 4 acre piece of land suitable for a septic system. He assured us and verbally guaranteed that upon hiring him, we would be able to import soil so that the area would eventually pass a perk test. Long story short, he used low quality soil, placed the dirt in the wrong location and also did it in the wrong dimension. He did everything wrong. Needless to say, we lost a lot of money. Young man says he is neighbor trying to raise money for a soccer tournament out of state. He says "the subscription goes to those serving in the military in the hospitals in Bagdad". Gives me a receipt and says it is tax deductible. My fault that I did not read the receipt right then and there, because it does state on the receipt it is a profit organization. I have ordered from Athleta on line for awhile, but I recently tried to return and exchange some items that weren't true to size. They don't provide you with a return shipping label or an exchange form. Instead, you call customer service, do a search on their website for keyword "return label", print it out. And since there's no exchange form to include in the return, you have to call the customer service number and re-order and re-pay for the item you wanted to exchange. Ordered a original filter cartridge for my pool and was sent a no-name brand as a substitute. I am an engineer, and am familiar with spun polyester. I have also been burned by Myshpae. When I made a purchase in December, their return policy was very explicitly spelled out - items could be returned for up to 30 days after their ship date. When I tried to return the items within this time frame, I was told that the company was no longer accepting returns. I have had my carpets cleaned for almost 30 years and this is the worst company I have ever dealt with in any capacity. They came out to clean our carpets. They looked great at the time they left. I hired Sharp Ace Contractors to renovate two bathrooms, kitchens, and refinish the floor throughout my duplex.
