Product was ordered 12/22/09. Item was placed on Hold for NINE DAYS to verify address. They never bothered once to call or email. I called this company 12/31/08 expecting at least adequate customer service. I was hung up on the first time. Then transfered to someone who could barely speak English. His only goal was to get me off the phone. I ended up canceling my order. Do yourself a favor and buy from a reputable company. Very quick email response from sales. Excellent packaging and decent shipping speed. I ordered a 3ware9650SE-8 bulk pack, but the website CLEARLY stated "With cables." I emailed sales to verify that indeed the OEM/Bulk packed card did come with cables. They said it did. Great. Acme had the best price by far on the card so I went with them. I went to purchase a Sony 24" CRT wide screen, and they were more than helpful on setting up both "A" grade and "B" grade monitors for me to look at. I ended up buying the "A" grade, but over the weekend I realized I missed the razor sharp text of an LCD at high resolution (although the game play was unbelievable on the CRT). Ordered Iphone accessory's for christmas gifts. Received email stating one of two items was shipped the other back ordered. My credit card was charged for both items. I never received tracking number. Finally no product arrived so on Dec 22 I called them three times and one live chat with there site. By the end of the day I was told the product never shipped and the second item was not available anymore. I ordered a Canon digital camera in November to give to my fiance' for Christmas. I received a phonecall the next day to verify my information and they said that it would be here in 14 days. I waited and waited and called up today to get the tracking info. At this time, I found out that it was backordered and wouldn't be shipped until January. I'm not satisfied with an online company that has a 3 day period for electronic downloads. For a company that states that it relies heavily on technology to satisfy their customers, I'm surprised and disappointed. It appears that this company is selling illegal copies of software. I purchased Photoshop CS4 and installed it. It worked for about a day, and then the software told me my install serial number was no longer valid. I can no longer use the software. It is impossible to get anyone on the phone at Academic File, and they don’t answer emails. They have reviews by satisfied customers, but it is not possible to post any new reviews. Ive ordered from ¨Norway from this guys and it works great. Be aware of taxes and such but most of you know that already. Ive been in states now for 10 months, and this is my second order so far. Stay away. Absolute Home charged my credit card the day I placed the order. The credit charged showed up on my account as "Home Click." They have very high restocking fees. A wrong item was shipped and it took a week to get a RMA, another week for them to process the order with a new order number, then another 3 weeks to get a status on the shipping. In 1999 I bought components from Aberdeen. In order to return a defective part, I was given an RMA number, I had to buy a replacement, and I wait for credit. I had to dispute a credit card charge in order to get the credit (took over 2 months). In 2006 I bought some memory chips from Aberdeen. It was the first items I bought for a new system, and among the last to be delivered. Their prices were higher than average, and I bought because they agreed to match another vendor's price. I placed an order for 200 DVD+R's from them on Sept 23rd and had them in my hands by the 27th. I chose cheapest shipping method. They send emails immediately with pertinant information about the sale and it's progress. They immediately respond to emails regarding your order. Was looking to get a Whirlpool AP450 Air Purifier as it was recommended by Consumer Reports and found this place to be the cheapest on the Internet. Beat out Amazon by like $50 or so even. I was going to place the order and found it the same price as the AP510 which had another fan speed, electronic controls, and a sleep mode (was also almost $80 cheaper than Amazon). They very conveniently stamp their receipts "No Refunds, Exchanges Only within 5 Days, NO EXCHANGES ON BROKEN TOYS" and sell at kiosks during the holiday rush. Of course, if you are giving their toys as a gift, you can't try it out. Surprisingly, they don't work, and the day after Christmas, the kiosks are gone and you are left with toys that never worked. I have tried contacting the toy manufacturer, but no response yet. The credit card company was called and we are disputing the charge - that seems to be our only hope. Awesome source for third-party and remanufactured ink cartridges. Low-cost flat rate shipping, good prices on ink and toner. We get all our ink from them, for printers they carry cartridges for; and all of our cables, too (printer, audio, HDMI, etc). I ordered the Super Slocket II socket 370-to-slot 1 converter. The site claimed FC-PGA compatibility. What I received was a generic slocket that most certainly was not FC-PGA compatible.
