Hearing Nike's reputation on quality, I had bought a shoe from Nike's dealer located on Rashbehai Avenue, Kolkata, India(Near to Spencer's outlet) . The portion of sole peeled off fort his expensive shoe, which costed Rs 5200 approximately about 14 months back. When I visted the shop yesterday, the person on desk(Did not disclose his name, on my request) not only refused to take the complain but insulted me with abusive language for my demanding replacement of the shoe. First off, I was treated very well by the servers. Prompt and courteous service. My problem is with the female manager who was rude to the waitstaff several times, talking down to them and being quick-tempered in front of customers. When I was hired at RBA I was told a portion of my commission would be put into an account also known as a black book. I was also told (along with a few other sales employees) that at any point in time the funds in this black book could be requested and withdrawn. We bought a new Activision Guitar Hero 5 game and 2 guitars. Starting with the first time, the game freezes during play at random times and always freezes when attempting to copy to the Xbox hard drive at the sample place. All other DVDs work great. I called Activision and they would not simply replace the DVD. They said they would charge me $20 if they found scratches. That's not a warranty, to me. The part was listed as "TESTED" but after they had my money for a while they emailed me to say the part is damaged, but didn't refund the money. When I opened a case against them with ebay, they tried to blackmail me into closing the case by saying they will only refund my money after I drop the case against them. The Holiday Inn Express in Irwin is a pitiful excuse for a HIE. I'm a platinum member of Intercontinental and am very used to staying at Holiday Inn Expresses. This particular hotel in Irwin is at the bottom of the heap and I cannot beleive Holiday Inn hasn't done something about it. From the smokey and mildew smelling rooms to rooms with MOLD (e.g. Room 115), the HIE in Irwin should be a last resort.
