Have been neddign the door and sidelights replaces for over a year. Company that sells the product and the Peachtree rep both agree the product is faulty. Peachtree Corp has screwed around and still have not gotten back to nay of us. Have filled out required service request forms, sent several emails and nothing. I am keeping my door shut with shims. I wish I had read all these complaints first! I just ordered a Frigidaire Dehumdifier from them because they had free shipping. I get an email saying that they had problems processing my order. I looked online at my bank statement and saw they had charged me for the order. We have had Metlife home owners insurance for over 15 years . Never have we filed a claim. Insurance paid out of escrow faithfully. Then sends us a letter, that due to overwelming cost from storms, they must cancel Florida's homeowners. I understand the costs, however, what is insurance for!? My contract was due to expire in July of 2009 so I called to cancel and was informed my contract was extended until June 2010 and I would have to pay an additional $400. They indicated that I would have to notify them in writing 30 days prior to the contract ending or they would automatically renew. We just have Vector alarm system installed about one and a half year ago. We had several services done already. We were out of the country and the window sensor was already low battery(the system was just installed less than 3 months then) and they have to call our emergency contacts. Regional Sales Mngr. for the Shield Family Products Co. Broken Promises. String us along. On 11.07.2009 I called Nedbank Insurance to register a claim for a leak underneath our house (that is what it looks like to me anyway) Claim ref: NED0952796.
