I pay over $300 a year for a "Worry Free" appliance contract. I was on hold for 30 minutes today to schedule an appointment for a broken dishwasher. The first available appointment is in almost 2 weeks! I will not re-new my service contract with them and I advise others to look for a different service provider. The service was snaking a kitchen drain. The cost -- for a visit of 1 hour--was $371.54! Based on my research online, this is well above the highest costs in a range that starts at $90. When I called for the service, I was told that the visit would cost $79, and tha that fee would be replaced by a standard cost for the needed service, once the service person could assess the problem. We purchased a new GE Adora clothes dryer in 2006 DHDSR48EF2WW. The felt fell out of it 3 months ago and we had to repalce due to noise and odor, the vent area rusted and last week the motor went--repair cost more than originalcost of appliance.
