I have been using Airtel Wireless service for the last 7 months and my tariff plan was Rs 799/- All of a sudden this month I have been sent a bill of Rs 2838. When I called the call centre I was informed somebody had called the call centre and have changed my plan from 799 to 3333 by giving the account no and address detail. Account no and address is visible to anyone as when it is getting delivered by post it is easily visible. I am a member of a local bank in MA. My bank had a breach in their security system which allowed customers information to be compromised. Unfortunately, I was one of the lucky one's. I received a letter from my bank, 1 month ago disclosing their breach in security. The letter informed me to review my statements closely, back five months to the present. I tried to do business with this company, but they were never around. I tried to order a sauna from them, but could never talk to anyone (or engage in the online chat) to place the order. I even tried to place the order online. After 3 days of not having a change to my order status, I decided to call them. I still was not able to get my phone calls even answered. The way I looked at it...If they don't even have my money and they are ignoring my phone calls, I can only imagine what they will be like once they get my money and something goes wrong with the product. Long time customer of LL Bean! Lack of recent customer service will deter me from continuing to buy their products. I bought an .entertainment center that turned out to be damaged because It was left out in the rain by UPS. LL Bean pleasantly informed me that they would ship out another unit to replace the first one. I was instructed to carefully unwrap the 2nd package so I could use it to rewrap the damaged one. I too have been waiting for wallpaper that was ordered in feb. 2009, each and every month I call in to find out, again...that it is still on backordered a few more weeks.There excuse is that the printing machine is broken down and is being repaired, till TODAY I found out that it is indefinitely and not ever going to be coming in. SCAM!!, DECEPTIVE!! Don't trust them. I will never go to them again. Ripped me off on a brake job. First stated I needed front/rear pads and rotors($405), had warranty on the pads. When I went back 2 days later to get the work done, they replaced the front/rear pads and front rotors($423). The mechanic working on my vehicle stated I didn't need my rear brakes done. I could have gotten more wear out of the pads, and the rotors would last about two more brake changes. read full review »

Since 18 May 09 when for no reason my phone was deactivated I have had nothing but problems with this company. The phone was for business and was listed in advertising. When they finally reactivated the phone they had changed the number. "We're sorry for any inconvenience". Then I discovered the phone wasnt recieving calls. Again they changed the phone number on me. Watch out and watch your mail. Ordered Aqua Globe s and a few weeks later got what looked like a refund check for $8.25. Not that out of the ordnary in days of rebates but this was a scam. In the fine print on the check it said that if I cashed the check I would be allowing them to debit my credit card for $149.99 for something called "Great Fun" a discount service that I would never use. I called suddenlink 4 weeks back, and they said they would have to add our house to their records, and that would take a week. It took 3 weeks for that to happen, and when the installation was scheduled, they found that there was no suddenlink cable box near our house to give connection to. Now, I am trying to get a date from them for installation and after 4 calls, there is no idea of when or what is going to happen. Some say they will get back to me, and never get back. Love my bed, but not being able to sleep on it for three weeks was not right. I called to order a replacement air cushion and was told that it would take 7-10 days for delivery. So I paid an extra $20 for 2 day delivery. Of course that's 2 days after the 2 days it takes to ship it out. When I got it I broke a hose fitting while trying to install it. Guess what? 7-10 days to deliver a small plastic fitting. 8 days later I received the fitting(s). Yes 4 fittings. All of them the same size. They quoted my $300 and then they said that there are scratches on the screen and on the back. It's a 2 year old laptop and there will be some wear and tear. Now the second offer is exactly the half of original qoute. If you don't want to sell at that price then you have to pay shipping of $20 plus there's no gaurentee of getting it back in same condition as you shipped. I bought several items from NY & Co, and tried to return an item, and they had changed their policy to a 60 day policy - there was no sign in the store or any warning of this change, that I am aware of. It had been probably a few days over 60 days, but other retail stores typically give you 90 days to return items. They also had a little bit of an attitude about it. Last year (2008)I used WMI Commercial for "dumpster" drop off and collection. The standard WMI Commercial policy is "Payment in advance of services". Each time WMI dropped off a dumpster they would (prior to dropoff) collect the full amount of the bill.
