Their tech support is bad, really bad. They want to accuse you of wrong doing way before they'll accept that their product may be at fault. Had a board of theirs that went bad. I purchased 3d Studio Max 6 from this so called "company" for $209.90 + 9.95 tax. I was so ticked off when I found out that I downloaded a program with a crack. The same thing that you can download off of Kazza or Limewire for free. I am furious. I want to do whatever it takes to put these people into an 8 by 10 room with Bubba. Based on several reviews, I decided to try out a Matrix-Orbital LCD display. Their website was fabulous - well laid out, all the specs in each units descriptions, and you could even look through the manual for each item online to make sure it would fit your needs. They have since been selling the item again at a higher price than the sell price I purchased at. They don't even have the decency to email me with an "I'm sorry but..." !!! DO NOT ORDER FROM MARQUEL. I placed three order, the most recent in June, and was completely satisfied. However, Marquel charged my debit card for almost $60 this past September, when I had not placed an order, and they have been 100% impossible to contact for resolution. Their 800 number is an answering machine from which I never get a response. Their web site for reporting problems also gets no response. I recieved a marketing call from Union Telecom in April 2008 and offered 2.9 cents/minute from Canada to Pakistan, I visited their website immediately and confirm the rates and sign up for the services. I have received very poor customer service from Primus as well. I should've known to stay with my current service provider (Bell) when it took primus 2 WEEKS to connect my phone when I moved to my new house. Purchased a Jabra JX10 headset from the lowest price on pricegrabber that seemed to have a decent rating. Opened box to find package will seal broken. Contents had clearly been opened and re-packaged. Tried it our anyway, no surprise - It doesnt work. Even took the time to call Jabra support and confirm. We cancelled with Yak Communications and went back to another provider. Yak continued to bill us for several months despite many phone calls and hour long waits. Finally, supplied proof that we are with the other provider (faxed in the bills) and a supervisor agreed to credit our account. No charges outstanding. The invoices kept coming. Don't order the custom picks from Steve Clayton. I ordered the white Pearl picks. The imprint comes right off. All you have to do is bend the pic a little and the imprint comes off on your finger. Much like other complaints on this site the Dallas Goodwill located on Greenville Ave is infested by unethical behavior & corruption from managers & associates. On a daily basis employees can be seen either doing favors for preferred customers (family members) or purchasing items that have not been put out onto the sales floor for customers. I signed up with Dowdle Gas in January 2008 I explained I had a 35ft motor home that when I ordered gas for my home it would need gas sometimes as well they told me they could do that. I find them not particularly friendly for the first time customers and their finance system does take a bit of time to work through. I was very frustrated dealing with these people. I purchased a modem from them (good price, fair shipping) and got my product in a timely manner and everything was fine. Well, I can see from teh reviews that business has gotten very bad in my year of abscence, or I was very lucky. I still get mail from these folks advertising products, but then again I have always done business with them C.O.D.
