On 01/29/09 I ordered a Grant writing CD on line from grantsearch.securemediabox.com, for $1.95. I have not received the CD, but have been charged the $1.95 for S&H. Then on 02/11/09 I was charged $69.95 by the same company in Minnesota. I called to find out what I had been charged for. The girl said I agreed to pay that EVERY MONTH. I was searching for an older style of Smart Media card and found them in limited quantity on the d-store website. I crossed my finger and order three, but the following morning got an e-mail saying the cards were now out of stock. I figured at least the d-store had been honest about having a limited quantity before I ordered. D&D Security Products tricked me out of a lot of money. I was sent a defective (and pricey) security alarm and when I returned the item I received no refund and was charged additional return mail fee (which I had already paid myself). I called and was told that the item was not received. When asked why then I was 'mistakenly' charged return postage I was cut off. Later was told the item was not defective and should not have been returned... click. I've had similar problems as stated below. The rebate process is difficult. I've ordered 5-6 times. mercandise alway came in a timely manner. Some items have been great. Others cheap. They have lost rebates & I have to resubmitt...I've made a couple of small errors...expect extra long wait and lots of checking up on them. They can change things inbetween. DONT EVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered an ata raid card for $15 and they charged my card immediately. 10 days later, i still did not receive any emails with any status of my order. I repeatedly called only to get an answering machine. Finally, i got a call through and the person on the phone made up some excuse about the product being backordered until "today" (how convenient for them) and that he "can" ship it out today, speaking as if he was doing me a favor. We completed our new home in November 2008 and needed blinds. We were lured in with low prices and of course the Home Depot support structure. We paid for HD to measure the blinds and they sent their contractor to do this. When the new blinds were received and the installers showed up. There were several blinds that did not fit properly. Greenway ripped us off on our move from Fort Lauderdale to Orlando. We were quoted a price of $650, and they charge hourly. Wirefly is advertising free phones for Signing a 2 year contract with the providers of our choice. The phone cost me almost $300.00 in the long run, after agreement details, such as agent fees? Wirefly provided insurance through NCOA which declared (formally) that they were bankrupt. I got the plan, the phone, the insurance. The deposit?, ended up as an agents fee! I have paid my New York & Company credit card in full a few months ago. I paid it for whatever current balance I had at that time, over the phone with an extra $10 and they assured me that I don't owe them anymore money. I signed up for the trial offer of the Pure Acai Berry Supplement as shown on the internet for $4.95 (shipping/handling). They did charge my acccount only $4.95. However, when I received the trial bottle, there was a plastic seal on the outside of the bottle around the cap, however, the inner seal was completely punctured. There are a lot of complaints about Jan-Pro. If you've read any other complaints it indicates that they give you contracts to clean buildings, that are not even worth the pay; you're basically working for minimum wage and working triple to double the hours that you would if you just got a normal job. It's all true. And trust me, you won't feel like a business owner, they'll make you feel like you're a worthless worker.
