I ordered an e-bay cd from this company for $1.95, subsequently my credit card was debited for the $1.95 plus 2 further debits of $59.31 & another one for $ 20.16 under a different company name (pmkeywordsuccess.com), but same address. I am currently disputing these charges with my bank. By the way, I have not received the initial free cd tho I have been charged for the shipping & handling. I first saw these ads when I signed up to participate in a survey panel, you are then sent to a page where you are asked to pick 3 of the offers before continuing. They were one of them. I had this company's VOIP service for three months, and got fed up with the dropped and missed calls and overall lousy service, so I canceled the service. They wouldn't give me any instructions on where and how to return their telephony modem, then they charged over $250 to my credit card for the modem without my permission. We had 9 people crammed into a table for 8 even though I had called 3 times to confirm that my table would be big enough. When we changed tables, the waiter gave me "a present for you"— a bottle of house wine which appeared on my bill! When I contacted them via letter, I did get a call from the manager who gave me no satisfaction, and no apology and refused my request of a refund for the price of the wine. I've spent hours trying to cancel this service. MSN has no proper cancellation set-up on their website, plus they don't even give you the phone number that your suppose to call in order cancel the service. Talk about trying anyway to discourage people from cancelling their subscription. We contracted Rona to install a new bathtub in our home. They sent a subcontractor that was not qualified to do the work. He did plumbing and electrical work and he is neither an electrician or a plumber. The taps do not fit, he cut our floor tiles and left a gap between the tiles and the tub, the tub surround is poorly installed, the tub leaked and we now have a hole in the ceiling in the basement as well as a hole in the wall of the room adjoining the bathroom. January 2, 2007, I bought a HDMI-DVI cable for my monitor and to use it for my PS3. I asked 3 different employees if they would work. I would like to warn people to think very seriously before purchasing anything from this store. We have shopped here for many years and they are wonderful until they have made their sale. Yesterday my kids, sil, nephew went to the mall. All the kids decided they wanted to eat in the food court. My 12 yr old nephew and 14 year old son went off to order from Arby's. I could see them from where we were sitting. The line was huge with customers waiting to order. My son comes back with his food. Nephew is still waiting as I could see. Do not buy a camera from these people, EVER! On October 6, 2006 I purchased a digital camera from Japan Camera in Scarborough Town Centre. Three weeks later the camera did not work and I took it in to exchange it. When I produced the receipt I was surprised to find "All sales final, no refunds or exchanges" on the cash register receipt. I had approached HSBC in Bombay for a personal loan. Our furnace stopped working during the night, and it was getting close to 11 degrees Celsius in our house - it was cold and it was getting colder; it was below freezing outside (we are North of Toronto) So we called Direct Energy who charged us C$135 for placing a service call; we had no problems with that. They tell me I have won $33,00.00 dollars, and I need to pay the taxes. They tell me they use the "Name Data Base Ballot System" which is provided by Credit Cards, and telephone services. It describes the sponsoring company, "EH GRiffith Inc," whom I e-mailed and they stated they were not sponsors and that the said company was fraudulently using their checks/letter heads. A United Church "COURT" heard three days of testimony and found The Rev George Slater guilty of two counts of "sexual abuse and pastoral sexual misconduct". The "Court" made six recommendations. I purchased an engagement ring from Gemoro and a loose diamond at Spence. Gemoro set my diamond and chipped it in the process - the value of the entire ring has decreased by approximately $12,000.00 as a result of the chip in the diamond caused by Gemoro during the setting process. From Nov.2004 to Nov. 2005, I was overcharged for gas to heat an apartment that I rented. I was forced to pay the said amount in the spring, and after I threatened to sue them,they sent me an unexplained refund of $600., and in addition,refunded the property owner over $1000. for the gas that had been used in my unit during the year 2004-2005. Hi all. On April 10th 2006 I purchased battery from the Canadian Tire in Port Coquitlam B.C. for my motorcycle. On July 28th 2006 it died, lasting only 15 weeks. On several occasions I have purchased products from this store. The last purchase was a month ago. I attempted to return a very expensive defective cable for my HD TV to Receiver connection. They refused to accept it as I didn't have a receipt. Talked to the manager and he said to bring it back in and he would try to find out by searching master card receipts. This is not really a complaint about any one person, but I really hate the gas prices. I know for a fact that the Big 4 Oil Companies in Canada are making huge profits regardless of the market price per barrel. Their profits stil increase every year, the reason is because we're all so dependant on it. Our pockets get more empty, but theirs get more full with $$$ I drive 2 hours a day, and the amount of money I spend in gas is more than I spend on food, water and hydro. We had a very, very negative experience with After Hours tuxedos last weekend. It began with their Ann Arbor, Michigan store listing the grooms name incorrectly, followed by a groomsman who was calling with his measruements long-distance from Canada being told (by a person in the Traverse City, Michigan) store to call back later as she was too busy to take any measurements from him. I am tired of Canada Post’s use/misuse of local courier companies to deliver parcels doing THEIR work for them and doing it poorly. This is about the 6th time this happens this year. Signed up for long distance last year for calling India for rate of 16 cents, at the present still charging me 16 cents, while on their web site, the rate for calling India is 13 cents. Call customer service to complained about this, and she told me they are still charging me the old rate when I signed up. I'm sure where to start. Since leaving Bell Canada I've had nothing but problems with my phone. First when it was installed we received no incoming calls for 4 days. They also said that by leaving Bell we would have our phone bill on the same bill as our internet and cable as we were already Rogers costumers. I have a credit for a flight from July 21, 2005 when I had to cancel a return only flight from Halifax to Victoria because of car trouble on a cross country trip and could not meet the time to fly home to BC.
