Received a charge from Jrb Roofing on nov 16, 2007 for $432.56 on my visa credit card statement, called credit card co. and registered complaint, told to fill out form and return, did, but checked farther, i live in alabama. This charge was for material & labor, no way, this is a 'company' located in the Broadwalk Apartments on 1825 S. Stevens St. tacoma, was no answer at phone listed, (wonder way) and apartment management will not give out any info, contacted locate police and will have to come in to fill out report. I contacted Joe and he said that he will not re-send the package nor will he give me a refund. He has no tracking number or record of sending the item. They billed my credit card prior to the cancellation trial period. When I tried to cancel they would not do it unless I got a confirmation No. and went into their web site to cancel. My computer was down and I had to go to another computer to cancel and get the charge off my credit card. I had $31.98 taken from my bank account without my authorization or consent. I tried calling the 1-866-575-0260 number I received from my bank and got the same response as everyone else. I then called a friend of mine assigned in Washington, DC who just happens to be part of Homeland Security. There is an ongoing investigation about this company. When we moved into our home we purchased new appliances for our kitchen-all Whirlpool Gold. I had a service call within the first three months for the electric stove saying it didn't heat properly. Two technicians were sent to our home and told me it showed the proper heat level. I stood my ground saying it may be working ok right now, but it doesn't always hold it's temperature. I have lived with this problem since then and now the control panel has gone and the quote was $496.00 to repair the over that hasn't worked properly from day one. How can a gas bill go from 22.03 to $140.03 in one month when you don't even have heating, (system been out since November), never home, don't cook. I've called Centerpoint twice today and have been on hold both times for over 1.5 hours. Is this the way they get you so frustrated you just hang up. I recently attempted to cancel my LA Fitness training membership through Body of Change due to medical reasons. In October, I contracted Pneumonia, and due to some complications, my doctor has not released me to resume vigorous physical activity. Well i have been complaining about getting my stove repaired for the past 3 and a half months. I have had a service tech in to see the problem and they have not repaired it. I have given the run around on this matter in which i am trying to co-operate with bad boy furniture. They have made other appointments with other techs in which can not be fulfilled. I gave my Alto car to Kap for accidental repair and service. Purchased an LG dishwasher. After 3 service calls they replaced it!! The one they replaced quit working after 18 months, this was an $800 dishwasher!! They refused to do anything to make it right. We also purchased a Washer Dryer set for over $2300.00 the washer hase been serviced 3 times. We have to leave the door open on it because it smells so musty!! Ripped-off by Woodman entertainment!!! I ordered twice at Pierre Woodmans, Woodman Entertainment company. Both times they ripped me off. First time: they did not apply the announced 5% discount on my order. Second time: They applied, without any prior announcement, a 34,00 EUR transportation charge. I started to use "Chase - Continental business credit card" since June. 2007. I paid my balance in full every month except Sep. 2007. So, on Oct's statement, there is a late fee and financial change. I paid in full (including the financial change) on time on 10/22/07. But again, on Nov's statement, there is $2.68 financial change. Since I bought a prolonged guarantee, I called the company for the guarantee and they sent a repairman within two weeks to look at my fridge. After one month, no news. Dell uses DHL shipping company to send electronics when purchased online. I purchased a very expensive piece of electronics and it was shipped by DHL out of California. I used the ability to track shipment online and saw they would attempt delivery on the 13th which is the day I was out of state on business.
