I deposited $59k in the Emirates Bank in Dubai. The money was stolen out of my account using a forged signature. The bank has 1. Refused to honour its obligation and refund me the money. 2. Refused to provide copies of the documents used to steal my money and 3. No senior member of the bank staff has ever bothered to contact me. Dubai has no banking ombudsman. I wrote to the central bank and they have not even bothered to answer my letter. I was having some problem with my E51 handset so i went to Nokia customer care in gurgaon (sector 14). Instead of focusing on the problem they were more interested in selling the extended warranty. Later on they told me that the problem was due to moisture and its out of warranty. I was asked to pay rs 110 just to know the estimate cost of repair and that also without any bill. However a few weeks later I received an email stating tickets were canceled and amount refunded due to 'flight being canceled cos of operational reasons'. I was scammed by a company affiliated with Health Solutions Network. I called HSN and they say they cannot do anything about it. Here is what I sent to HSN I was contacted by a Daniel at phone number 408-532-5619 and told that I could get generic soma 90 count for $139.00 and a second bottle of the same medication and quantity for $15.00. The website indicated that shipping and handling would be $7.95 - it asked for name, address, and credit card number and then never disclosed that S&H would actually be $15.90 until the order had already been placed. It then only displayed the receipt page for a short time barely allowing it to be closely examined. So far I have not yet received a receipt by email even though they requested my email address. I got an really good estimate from NY to Cali for $1500 less than the closest competitor. So trying to save some money I decided to do business with them. BIG MISTAKE! These guys are running a scam and are breaking many laws. Including: using un- licensed individuals /call centers to sell health plans that they make seem like Major medical over the phone. My phone was stolen 10/13/09, I filed a police report and reported it to Asurion. On the 10/21/09 when I went to pay the $85 charge to replace my phone I was told that since my phone service had been disconnected that day I no longer had insurance. I was told that they do not validate the claim from the day of the incident, they validate it when you have all your paperwork completed and even if I paid my phone bill I could not replace my phone because I would be starting with a new insurance plan. Advanta Business Cards is offering a 0% fee for new cards for 1 year with a supposedly fixed rate of 7.9% from there on. This is bait and switch scam! I applied for the card several years ago and several months ago the rate went up to 15%. I paid off the balance and continued to use the card paying it off on time to avoid the interest. ILD Teleservices, Inc. added charges $31.99 to my AT&T phone bill last month. I called AT&T and was asked to call ILD direct. After called ILD (800-433-4518), the lady agreed to remove the service and so as the charges and also asked my e-mail to send the cancel confirmation. I never received the cancel confirmation e-mail. I purchased a 1 year old Seal Bi-color male from this cattery over the past week. When I went to meet Jessica in SC and pick him up he was filthy. Apparently she didn't give herself enough time to bathe him. She was delivering a kitten to a woman that day also that appeared to be cleaned up. They recommend you order both Dazzle Smile Pro and Clean Whites from two different sites and use the two codes they give you to get the discount. I would like to hear from anyone that has a ad in the Veriszon yellow pages and that had the ad renewed without your authorization when the publication of the yellow pages was assumed by Idearc. Idearc tells me that a letter was mailed to me in August of 2006 advising me that my ad would automatically renew unless I advised them otherwise. However, I never received that letter. Katie Grashel recently sold kittens to 2 breeders in Italy that will not be getting them. She had her cats and kittens taken away a few weeks ago from the humane society, called by the police. Have just found out that I have been involved in a scam for several years. Worst part is the scam artist is a local utility supplier Nicor Solutions.
