I took my car to Pep Boys for an oil change and tune up and oil valve replacement. Took it in on Thursday and by Saturday afternoon they finally finished it. Drove it home (1mile) and forgot about it. Now, Monday morning as I try to leave for work, my steering wheel won't turn enough to even get out of the parking space. My car which a year old has been making too much of noise all off a sudden. The hmming sound of the Ac is too loud esp when on a slope or at a higher speed. On October 26th I used the Wachovia dealer services website to make a payment on my loan. I printed out the transaction just as it appeared on the screen. On Friday, October 30th, I received a phone call telling me that my payment had been declined for non sufficient funds. I recently sold a truck on Ebay. The buyer contacted Continental Auto Movers to make the pick-up. The company called and scheduled a pick-up date of October 22-23(Thurs-Fri). No show on either day, so Friday evening I called. It took me 4 tried to get through to anyone. My Rav 4 with the cruise control off has 6 times jumped from 30mph while driving in town to close to 90mph. Last time I almost got killed because when I jammed on the brakes they were rendered ineffective due to the racing engine. i ended up passing around a blind curve doing 70mph in a 35mph zone to avoid a collision. The company sent me the wrong mounting bracket and after a month, asked me to submit a new order for the replacement bracket, which they charged me for and that they would process the return separately so I could receive a refund. I took my vehicle to the dealer for an engine nock. After performing $800 worth of repairs and diagnosis I was told that I needed a new engine. The problem was significant enough that they should have been able to diagnose the problem without the unnecessary repairs that ran up my bill. The dealer did an engine flush, replaced two sets of lifters, and then check the rod bearings. The actual problem was a the main bearing. The end play on the crank shaft was out by 0.030. I took my 1992 Toyota Celica to Chris Sutton towing & Repair on 04-14-09 for an oil lead to be diagnosed. I spoke to him on 04-16-09 and he said he had to order a seal from toyota and was waiting on it to come in. He also was authorized to replace a timing belt and an outside seal on the oil pump and inspection.
