I also know that at least three of my referrals to Clear Choice Richmond have installed their windows without any problems. I hired Penyak roofing to rip out and replace my roof. The roofing material was delivered and they put it on my front lawn! The delivery truck also DAMAGED my driveway!! It has now been 4 weeks since they delivered the materials and nothing has been done. I have been in contact with Jamie, the secretary, and Joe the owner since then. They have put me on the schedule 3 times over the past month and have canceled 3 times. They seem to know just enough to convince you they'll do a good job but not enough to actually do the job. They promise to show up bright and early in the morning but then do not show up until noon and one day they showed up around 2pm and about three others not at all. I bought a GE washer from Sears in spring of 2008. AFter I had it for 7 months, I was running a load at night, and when I walked into the kitchen area where my washer was running, I came upon a flood in my kitchen. Thanks to Mortgage Relief i was able to keep my home ! I was paying my mortgage to Citi Mortgage, at an interest rate of 5.7%. My monthly payment was over $1500! Mortgage Relief was able to negotiate them down to a payment of $952.53. They were able to save me $567.36 a month ! I do not know what i would have done if it were not for Mortgage Relief. All Brite Kitchen & Flooring hired us to do install work for them on various jobs. The owner, Frank, is a liar and an un-trustworthy person to do business with. Payments were never received from All Brite & customers were highly disappointed! We completed all work asked, and never got paid on a number of jobs. They charged a 19 year old $445.95 to fix a small break of a 3/4" pvc pipe. They charged $150 to show up and another $295.95 to fix it. When I spoke to the manager he said he was ok with this because the kid approved it and he is an adult. He also said there is nothing I can do about it. I can at least make other people aware of their pricing. Unfortunately, the California Licensing Board that his license is under does not regulate prices and suggests getting at least 3 bids. I bought a GE Profile fridge in 6/2008. From the get go we had issues with it not staying cold, spikes in temp in both the fridge and freezer, and occasional frost on the food in the freezer. This contractor was hired in 2006 to install an EP Henry patio with sitting walls and a walkway. Since the day they completed the job Hard Rock Landscaping has ignored every single attempt to communicate about and resolve the issues. The first set of windows they installed were wrong, they cut chunks of framing out to make them fit. Then they capped over the drain holes in the sill. Aftewr 2 or more years they finall came out and replaced the windows. When there was a problem they kept delaying anfd even tried to sell me outside siding saying that was why they leaked. Some retailers are out of touch and provide poor customer service, especially to working families. Take Thomasville for example. I bought the Nocturne dining set and the screws on chairs come out too easily. One guest sat and broke a chair within a year and now I cannot even buy the same chair. Do you know how much a complete toilet in a sealed box should weigh? I don't. All I know is I bought a toilet to go in a big heavy sealed box. It was heavy and I needed help lifting it. Less than a year of buying 1500KVA double battery Luminous Invertor, poorer by 20 grands, but still no relief from frequent light outs. This 'top' model from Luminous kitty has already been "serviced" at least 10 times while the warranty period is still on. HSS arranged for a contractor to install our new hardwood floors. The installation was HORRIBLE! I contacted them by phone (to no avail) and in writing (12/21/09). On 1/4/10 I received a reply to my letter stating that we had had the "corrective repairs made by someone other than the original installation company (Mickler Wood Floors)which invalidates the CPP.
