Purchased the dishwasher in 2001. we were shopping of a bosch, the sales person told us a kitchenaid was much better HUH! Since then we have atleast 2-3 service calls a year. the heating element has gone out, it blows fuses, the hinges have gone bad on the door making it way "a million pounds" now the soap door does not open. the water. its been one problem after another. you would think after spending 900.00 on a dishwasher I would not be having all of these issues. After 18 months the door water and ice dispenser failed. We had a 3 year service warranty and after a week of listening to this unit clap and blink the service tech required another week to order parts. The refrigeration in the refrigerator section then failed and now we have a 1000 "ice box" to keep the food from spoiling. Now they say it will take 7 to 10 more days for the parts to be sent from the factory. We are irate and will never recommend this product. We purchased a stackable Kenmore front loading washer/dryer in August 2005. The model number is 44152 and it was manufactured for Kenmore by Frigidaire. We've had balancing problems with this unit from day one. I've paid service techs and handy people to come to our house to try and balance the washer after we were unable to do so ourselves. Two days back I got SMS to pay my bills. I instructed my company to pay bills as I was at Roaming location. In the afternoon I got SMS that your money is credited but in the night when I tried calling some one phone did not work- incoming, out going and SMS - all deactivated. when I tried customer care Star 333 , asked to talk at 363 and some other number which says to resume service contact customer care. My heat pump was down most of the winter last year. The service tech got it fixed again just before spring. The a/c worked great this summer, but as soon as it got cold enough for the heat, it would not heat again. The service guy replaced a recalled part & it heated for 17 days. I've tried to contact the company, but I have only been able to e-mail them. My service guy can't get any co-operation out of the local rep. REGRET TO COMMENT ABOUT IFB SERVICE PERSONNEL. I have purchased a IFB Digital 6 Kg W/M at Mumbai on 24 Nov. For installation and start demo I have registered a request at call center and fixed up time at 5.30pm on 27 Nov as per convenience of the technician of IFB's outsourced co. M/s Lucky Services. But even after reminding twice at this service center, no body turned up at the fixed time and date. Rather, I was given some silly excuses for not attaining the service. I just want to advise anyone that may want to make a purchase here. When I ordered my futon I got very poor service. The final product was not delivered to me until 2 months after I ordered it. They were not good at getting back to me via phone. I had to call several times to get the status. When it did come in they did not ship it to me. I had to go pick it up. After having reserved the tickets in IInd Class, it has now become very difficult to travel, as 25% of the space is occupied by the Wait Listed passengers. They are sleeiping in the passanges and wherever some space is available, and hence nobody can go to the bathroom or can move from the seat. The society where I am living (Swapnapurti) is being managed by fools. 2 days ago, I noticed that the tap in the kitchen was continuously running and not closing properly. I called the supervisor (Sachin), he said that he will send the plumber and disconnected the call. The plumber came and without inspecting the tap said the tap need to be replaced and vanished. On Nov. 17,2007, purchased a simmons mattress set from ashley furniture for 1091.00. The sales rep never informed us that there was a no exchange or refund policy on the mattresses. I was promised delivery and it never happened on November 24th. A plethera of excuses were made... including "no one was home"... NOT. But what burns mt butt is... when I phoned the store they lied about the delivery time and upholded that "The Brick" never makes mistakes and blamed it on me. Recently booking for refilling LPG cylinder of HP Gas over telebooking line 1716 from my residence has become very difficult. Whenever I try to connect 1716 from my residence I get response "due to some technical problem I am unable to process your request. We apologise for your inconveniance". This is the email I sent to GE: "I have lost confidence in your product. I am now on my 3rd hot water heater and 5th Watt's relief valve. The 1st tank leaked around the plastic at the base of hot water side. The 2nd leaked around both sides and out of one of the dimple holes around the relief valve. I have had cabinets installed by home depot, pull out of existing cabinets started november 13th. Cabinet install on november 15th finishing the next day. We are going on two months without any hopes of having our Sears, Kenmore washer repaired. Our Kenmore washer quit, so we called for warranty repair. Two weeks later a repairman finally came. I had a $49.95 dollar coupon that ended up $4,518 dollars. I told him I was a first time home buyer and that he could be ripping me off. The technician told me if he did half the job I would run the risk of the furnace breaking down and it would cost me 10-15 thousand to get a new one. I recently received a letter from Afni, Inc indicating that I owe 111.28 for a verizon account that they claim I owe since 1998. It has been 10 years so I do not have any recollection of this bill but I can say I never received a bill prior to moving. MSEB is the worst electricity board I have ever seen. I am fed up with daily 6 hours powert cut in our area (Dombivli, MIDC).
