Well my experince at the cheesecake factory was less than a "Piece of Cake". About 3 months ago I went into the Thousand Oaks, Calif Cheesecake Factory. Rang up offering 2 printer cartridges cheap. Have sent a total of 35 cartridges which they claim I ordered. Every time they send more they assure me that this is the last part of my order (which I supposedly signed for) but they keep sending more. As a Telus customer for almost a year, I am very unhappy to say that my phone has consistently been giving me a lot of problems with reception, battery life, display problems, and sometimes I don't even receive calls or messages. I purchased an above ground pool on-line and opted to pay an additional $999.99 for their "Premium" package. After I assembled the pool, I found that I was missing several parts for the pump and filter. I called them and they said they would FEDEX them to me. They did, however the FEDEX was not overnight, it was 3-day delivery so, my pool sat full of stagnant water for 4 days while I waited for the parts. Just wanted to share my unpleasant experience with Aldo this weekend. I went to the Easton location in Columbus, Ohio to find some shoes. As noted in another complaint, 1&1 claims that an attempt to charge credit card/bank account failed. They do nothing for 3 months, no attempt at contact. No email, no phone call, no snail mail. My parents have come over from New Zealand to drive around Europe in a camper van that my husband and i own. I ordered BitDefender last week and got the online version. Turned out I had the Virus "Antivirus 2010" on my computer. They had me send them much info from my computer, but never sent me the fix as they said they were going to "in the next 30 minutes" -- that was five days ago. I purchased some razor blades at your 1531 Bayview Ave store in Toronto and wanted to return them as they were $ 3 more than Pharma Plus (most of their items are overpriced but it was convenient). I tried to return them but because another person had used their optimum card for the purchase and they werent with me, I was told I couldn't return it without this card. This was a $ 13 item and I find it ridiculous that their system cant reconcile optimum card points electronically without the physical card there. If you enjoy the antics of the three stooges, you will appreciate the staff at the Carol Stream Hampton Inn. This hotel is a study in mismanagement and a wonderful example of how not to run a hotel. Wrong beats right by two to one at this roadside disaster. From the maids leaving no towels or tissues, but taking the remote, to the handy man plugging the Ethernet cable into an empty hole in the wall, you laugh until you cry. It took over a month to get an appointment I called in the beginning of April and the next available appointment was May 22nd! I was shopping at Advanced Auto Parts today for cleaning supplies. When I was done gathering what I needed, I went up to the counter to get in line. I guess that it really depends on who is helping you in the store. I have bought items from them once in the past with no problem. I just had an employee try to sell me a 1965 Churchill Crown as an troy ounce silver coin. 1965 Churchill Crowns are made of a copper/nickel alloy. Lying over a $28 purchase. Topix claims to be a journalism site. With journalism comes responsibility and Topix doesn't show much of that. Topix basically is nothing short of an excuse to bash other people for profit. The company claims to have over 400, 000 forums yet employs under 50 people. All I wanted was the good deal on a Nikon camera. The told me that Nikon didn't come with certain warranties, batteries, charger, etc., and then they said they would give me a great deal on these items. Turned out that Nikon product does come with the warranties, batteries, charger, etc., except I end up paying much more than had I bought it locally. They also said I would be given free express delivery. It took a week and I was charged $49.50. To return item, I will be further charged a restocking fee that makes it an even greater loss. This company has already been mentioned on your site along with their sister company OnRebate.com. The problem is that when you try to apply for the rebates offered by TigerDirect through OnRebate, their form does not function on several required fields and thats as far as you get. I have been trying for two days to get some assistance from TigerDirect after spending several hours on the phone attempting to contact OnRebate with no luck. I was charged for the same purchase 8 times! I only received on confirmation. I have filed a fraud claim with Wells Fargo to remove all but one of the pending purchases. my daughter put in gas and when finished she found out the hard way that the handle of the pump was broken and kept pouring gas out and all over her hand and arm and onto her clothes, she reported the broken handle and the was told by the clerks that they knew about it. My concern is why nothing was done to prevent an incident to occur again.
