Please warn all consumers not to do business with 1800Hotels. I booked a room with them at Planet Hollywood only to arrive and find that although I had been charged for the reservation, the reservation was no good. I had to rebook once I arrived at Planet Hollywood and was in essence charged twice. Not only that, but then 1800Hotels put an additional charge on my credit card for a "Foreign Transaction" fee. This business is totally bogus. I have disputed both the hotel charge and the additoinal Fees with my credit card provider (BOA). I would urge all consumers NOT to do business with this company. I started the process with 1st American Law Center on 10/09 and gave them a deposit of $1500 and monthly payments of $568 thereafter. I purchased a car in 2000 from Terry Cullen Chevrolet. AmeriCredit was the finance company. After 9-11 and bankruptcy of United Airlines, I was furloughed as a flight attendant twice. Enmax, is by far one of the least ethical companies in Alberta. Enmax is a hydro company that provides water and Electricity and natural gas.
