Asset
lilliemae October 7, 2009
I too have been plagued by calls from Asset. Roderick and others have left messages on the answering machine. I called back the number Roderick left and answer is that the call was their mistake and to ignore it. The topper just happened. I answered the phone and a lady identified herself by name and said she represented Asset and that this call would possibly be recorded. She then wanted me to verify myself by name, and to verify my current address. I replied before I would verify anything to any caller out of the blue, I would need to know... read full review »

Row44
w.junior November 3, 2010
Row44 is the worst internet service imaginable. I was on a flight and tried it -- fought it for three hours is more like it -- because Row44 kept disconnecting. It would barely load one page without disconnecting. So I would have to reconnect. And reconnect. Maybe it works best if you're actually seated in Row 44. But any other seat on the plane and you're out of luck. Then, to cap it all off, I was double billed for this worthless service. That's right, Row44 double billed me. And for being a technology company their... read full review »

Safe Guard America
GatorGirl2000 March 2, 2010
Well I have only had Safeguard in my home now for two months... so far so good. The main reason why I went with this company was because of my father's recommendation. He has had them now for over three years and says he is satisfied. I also like the fact that they have a 45 second guaranteed response and a $500 deductible guarantee. Every month I test the system because if it goes over 45 seconds before they call I get 1 month of service free. They have yet to go over but at some point I hope they do because I wouldn't mind the free... read full review »

Sanyo Incognito

I posted my new Sanyo Incognito Boostmobile phone on Craigslist and EBay for sell at $120 and Michael Morgan opted to purchase the phone. This is a complete scam. Luckily, I am certified in security and aware of fraudulent activities. On 25 June 2010, I received two money grams from alleged purchaser Michael Morgan (aka: [email protected] ) in the amounts of $825 each. Currently, I am transferring all the text messages and bogus money grams to the FBI to prevent any harm to others trying to sell personal items legitimately. This guy... read full review »

I was given a quote of $50 to have a locksmith open my 1998 Ford Mercury Marque. The key was left in the ignition with the car running. I explained to the call taker that the car had been left running for hours with the key in the ignition. He said: "Student discounts are $35 and a $15 minimum per vehicle." I said: So $50 total?" He said "Yes." They tryed to get $100 from me. I argued and got it down to $60. I will not do business with them again. read full review »

ShoppersDiscounts
Jim Hindhaugh January 20, 2009
It appears that a fee of £8.00 is being requested by ShoppersDiscounts from my bank on a monthly basis. Can someone please look into this for me as I haven't authorised these transactions, I have contacted my bank and instructed them not to pay any future request for payment. My bank informs me that this may not be as simple as that but will contact me when they have concluded their internal investigations. Many thanks in advance Jim Hindhaugh read full review »

The Sweepstakes Audit Bureau
June 4, 2008
THE SWEEPSTAKES AUDIT BUREAU of Dallas, TX. sent me a letter requesting five dollars to enter a sweepstakes. This is suspicious because I have never heard of this company. I do not believe I will have a chance to win $12 million dollars by entering this sweepstakes, and I would like to see this company prosecuted for sending fraud mail through the US mail service. This is the second letter of this nature I have received from this company this month. I would be helpful to know how to report such rip-offs to the authorities. This bogu... read full review »

Orlando April 3, 2009
The Great Indoors, Gaithersburg-Rockville, MD I bought 4 ceiling fans out of the lighting department of The Great Indoors at the Gaithersburg-Rockville store on Shady Grove Road. It was an easy sale for them since I had to track down someone who would take the time to write a sales order. It was chaotic so I overlooked their lack of interest. At first, after completing the sale, I was told they could only find three units but they would look further. That did seem odd to me but I waited while they looked. I just wanted to tell someone about Nissan of Mckinney. I went into the dealership to look for a Nissan Quest but the ones that I test drove did not meet my personal standards. They had a 2007 Nissan Quest with 21,000 miles on it and price it at 26,900, which while doing my research I noticed that other dealers were selling them for 21,000 or so, so anyways when I confronted them about the price they basically just ignored me and put to the side. I purchased a puppy from this co. 2/14/2010 and received it 2/17/2010. The co. was supposedly a breeder of purebred dogs but is instead a broker for puppy mills across the country. My puppy came from Missouri and arrived sick. As she has grown, she has lost the function of her rear legs due to malformed hips, knees, & stifles. The co. demanded that I obtain multiple vet exams & x-rays proving genetic malformation. This I did at my own expense. The co. now refuses to refund purchase price or replace dog. This company is the worst! They trick you into a free trial with the "fine print", then they send you a product that does not work, and then they charge you $83.95 for the stuff! Beware - if you are as naive as I was and ordered this junk - the 14 day trial starts the day you place the order, NOT the day you receive and actually start using the product. If I was in the hospital dying with cancer and Carlton said they had the cure I would pass on having them implement the remedy. This outfit can't do anything right and the owner doesn't even care. Installing a pool is a multi step process; and they screwed up ever step I suspect the Carlton motto is "Why do it right the first time with professionals when you can employ morons and have them do things that only escapees from a nut house would do.
