I own five properties in the Nottingham area. This week I have received called from tenants in three of the houses stating that their energy supplier has been changed from eOn to Scottish Power. Neither myself nor the tenants have requested this. Scottish Power is telling me this is all being requested online but they wont tell me who is doing it. We recently purchased a Samsung set (dishwasher, fridge and stove) from Leons. Their prices were the lowest and the store offered additional discounts if all 3 appliances were bought. We only really needed the dishwasher but got sucked in because of the savings. I have an expensive, supposedly-complex (as indicated by a previous plumber who fixed an unrelated problem) faucet in my kitchen that developed a leak. This company supplies water to our subdivision. The trouble started back in December of 2007. They disconnected my neighbors water to turn on water at one of my properties. I purchased a GE fridge 4 years ago from the Brick. The sealed system failed 3 months ago and I cannot get my manufacturers warranty honoured. The Brick has offered me a fraction of the cost of the fridge as a credit at there store. I talked to GE directly and they have no record of issuing any credit or even a request from the Brick for replacement. Sla Tur Construction, in Pompano Beach, is terrible. They abandoned my job after taking $107, 000 of my money. They removed my personal property and won't return it. They got very few inspections done and they failed all but one of them. they continued on after failing the inspections so I have to pay another contractor to rip out what the work they did do. I had ordered a hot tub 8/09. They were supposed to charge my credit card for half the cost. Instead they charged the entire $3044. I am a widowed father of 3. Tri-county propane was taken over by saratoga propane. I requested a delivery of propane 3 weeks ago. Rosemarie told me she would try to locate my items and would call me in a few days as she was going away. She never called. I purchased two "Maytag" Dehumidifiers. They both had 5 year warranties. In less than 5 years they both quit working with compressor problems. When I contacted Maytag, they said the dehumidifiers were made be Fedders under the Maytag name. Fedders has gone bankrupt and Maytag will not support the warranty. I bought a dishwasher 16 months ago. It has been giving me problems since 2 months ago. It took the technician 15 days to attend to the call and that too only after numerous calls to customer care and to the technician's manager. I have ordered a Sears 12, 000 Btu air conditioner model 75121. The initial delivery had to be returned because of severe damage not seen from the unopened box. The replacement unit was not properly packaged, also damaged, and did not operate. It is becoming evident that the Sears vendor is shipping units that it knows are damaged.
