I was looking for former classmates and found AlumniClass.com. They don't allow you to see anything before paying a one time fee of $10. I paid the $10 and there were only 3 people from my class on the site. THREE. I tried to get a refund, but according to their "terms of use" they absolve themselves from everything and do not make refunds. This place is a scam. They responded to my complaint in a timely manner (via email), but they hide behind their "terms of use" to justify not doing what is right. I was conned into having iTalk as my phone company by false promises. I cancelled in April after 3 months overcharging by them. Later, they said my cancellation was rescinded externally (Alleged, no proof) Worse was to follow. Company used an address in Bismarck, ND. 612 East Boulevard Ave Suite 705, 58505. They are using various company names such as: Shoppers Impressions Inc, Shopper Jobs Inc, Shopping Disbursements, etc. They send you a bogus cashiers check and require some shopping and wiring of money to satisfy their clients. We received these Gas Up America coupons as a "perk" for attending a time share presentation in Williamsburg, Va back this summer. We registered the certificate with Gas Up America and received a coupon book to begin receiving our $100 promised reimbursement that was promised us at the presentation. Bought the Satellite tv player for my pc and over half the channels dont work or are from another country. The vendor says the update channels to make them work but they still dont work. All the channels they offer are none that I watch. There are not over 3000 or 6000 channels at one time either. Our 4 year old Genie Pro opener has occasional phantom openings. When it happens neither the remote or the wall control will lower the door. The circuit breaker must be turned off and back on. Today for the first time I was able to observe the opening. The lights in the house flickered off/on one time and the door went up. I was to have my gas restore today. The customer service representive I spoke to said, "you don't have to be home, we can turn on your gas from outside." I waited one week for this service. The owner doesn't care about the quality of his workmanship. He doesn't diagnose the problem properly. He caused a part he fixed (exhaust camshaft) to fail due to his poor workmanship. Then it took me over a year to get him to tow the vehicle back to his shop. Then he didn't completely fix it and lied in small claims court. They were supposed to be advising us on exporting issues and never told us many of the things we should have done. I had replied two days prior via e-mail that the above-mentioned time was agreeable. However, as of ~2:00pm today (16 Oct 2008), I have yet to receive a call from Ms. Recker to conduct the phone interview, nor have I received any notice that there might be a scheduling conflict. I started another 12 month contract with a promise of a reduced fee package. Since then they have consistently overcharged me every month in my opinion. I have to phone them which usually takes a good 15mins (@5p a minute) to sort it out. I get told it will be credited on my next bill.
