The Bluebay Club used very high pressure & deceptive means to convince me to sign a contract to buy one of their timeshares. The contact is clear that if I cancel within 5 days I will be refunded and money I paid to them. Based in Melbourne, I booked tickets online at www.jetairways.com for BKK-CCU-BKK sector and due to the error of Jetairways online booking system, which didn't confirm the first booking, ended up with duplicate booking for the same sector. This is the motel just outside of St. Augustine. It was filthy with mold in the bathroom Tub, Holes in the blanket,Hole in the Screen. They did not clean the room until we complained and we had no satisfaction. This was the so-called suite room 206. The management was not responsive and I found that this is was the worst place I have ever stayed. The bill was over 475 for 4 nights and it was worth nothing. The manager of this hotel has not business being in the customer service field she was rude blew me off when I complained about the noise and told me it was just the way things were at that hotel. Never apologized. The place was very very noisy kids running up and down the halls until around midnight. The adults talking loudly in the early am both mornings (4am). Global Travel is relies on false advertising of a "free" trial period to get people to sign up for their services. Once signed up if you cancel you are not informed that you must return their information package within the "free" time period or you will be charged a full year membership at $29.95/month. We stayed at this motel a few weeks ago on our way home from the south. The reception area looked very nice and seemed well heated. The charge was $80+ for a room. We rented a room and when we got to the room there was no heat. The man said to give it a few hours and it would get warm. Apparently none of the rooms in that motel are heated - they don't turn any heat on even in the dead of winter and it remains that way until a customer arrive to rent the room. I was supposed to get a free trip after purchasing a package from a radio station, I had to pay a $50 deposit and give 3 dates. I did what they asked but did not have the dates available and gave me an alternate date o Tampa Florida. I set up the date with my family. I called NWA WorldPerks number 3 times a few weeks ago and gave up. I first had to answer many questions to "an automated system" which sometimes immediately disconnected me because my answer was not recognizable or audible. They promised discount travel many times up to 50 per cent for condos, hotels, cruises, airline tickets, and car rentals. I would like to file a formal complaint against Royal Holiday and also specifically against the Park Royal Hotel in Acapulco which is a Royal Holiday Resort. The company does not have a Virginia contractor’s license to date 3/22/07. They also did not have an Alexandria City license to do work in Alexandria, VA. They abandoned our hardwood flooring installation and tried to collect 6 months after the job was started and not completed. They used different flooring and stairs that was on the estimate. I would like to point out a case of harassment by yet an another service provider... A site called Cleartrip.com offers to book tickets for various airlines on internet for which they charge through credit cards. While making one such booking, there was an error at site clearly stating that the ticket was not booked and hence I re-booked the same. Stay away from Red Roof Inn. Particularly the one in Williamsburg, Virginia. We went for a vacation and checked out a day early. The bill was $247 and charged to a credit card for that amount. When I received the credit card bill, the amount billed by Red Roof Inn was $308. The corporate office refused to correct the charge saying it was the business of the franchise owner in Williamsburg.
