I worked several properties for Assured Asset in the Palmdale area. I contacted management about this 7/16/10 AT 0945hrs & was told that when I signed up for dvr service they hold the card in case of equipment damage & if my account goes into default they would charge it. I ordered CD's with an understanding that I had a trial period to evaluate their product. I called within the trial period to return the product. The lady I spoke with was very manipulative and talked me into an additional 7 days to evaluate the product. On the 7th day, I called to cancel as I was no more impressed than I had been 7 days earlier. Their office was closed so I emailed them. Recently, my husband and I went to Mazatlan, Mexico and went to a timeshare presentation at Residence Club La Jolla and got misled into purchasing a timeshare. We purchased the timeshare on a Sunday, 2010 and we went to the Mexican Consumer Protection Agency, Profeco, on Tuesday, 2010 to cancel the order (under Mexican law we have a 5 day right of rescission). Just like other complaints, Ugg boots were ordered on 12/06/2010 and received e-mail that visamasterpay had sent them payment of $89.95 USD on 12/07/2010. Given order # and merchant #9833. When boots did not arrive, I sent an e-mail to their "customer support" at a hotmail address, no reply, and when I tried calling the number, call would not go through. I was a travelling nurse last year coming to Salem. I kept my CA driver's license and plates. Then I decided to stay but allowed my license to expire for some dumb reason. I was completely SCAMMED by York Street Properties. I am a real estate investor who purchased 6 homes from them that were sold to me as being completely rehabbed.
