ANOTHER TV SCAM! I was charged 1.95 for mailing book. OK, I agreed to that. I never got the book. Then I was charged $89.95 for "ezine". What? The T&C say $29.95 every 60 days AFTER free trial. Did not get the book, when did free trial start? They say I signed up for "Charter Membership" HUH? I signed up for free book only (1.95 s/h). On hold for 15 minutes with customer service. 50 working days ago I ordered and paid for a reverse email trace with emailrevealer.com & have not received anything at this moment in time. On there website they say that a search can take up to two weeks and I think that I have been more than patient. On October 17, 2007 I completed an online purchase. I was then offered a magazine free of charge if I paid the shipping/handling charge plus one other free magazine. The 2 magazines were Reader's Digest and Real Simple. It is March of 2008 and I have not received any magazines. I placed a call to the phone number on the my bank statement (they charged the shipping/handling) and an automated system said my order had been canceled as of October 20, 2007. On 1/16/09 I received a call from a woman named Linda, identifying the company as RAB. She wanted to speak with me concerning a debt that I owe to Capital One. I called Capital One regarding settling this debt on 4/17/08 and was told By Marilyn, at 1-800-258-9319, that this debt was not mine. I disputed this debt on Equifax the same day. After Linda called me on 1/16/09, I called Capital One at 1-800-258-9319 and spoke to Fiona at 6:30 pm, and she stated that this had this account charged off due to bankruptcy. Wells fargo auto finance take auto insurance on the car and time laps in between the time i had a appointment with another insurance it laps in sept. and could only get a appointment with other company to cheaper insurance on the car i got the instance november as soon as can. I am disabled person and i don't have a lot of money and wants. I was approached by a representative for JRP and went to an introductory class. They seemed like a legit company and so I paid $2000 for my daughter to take classes and have auditioned one a month. About 3 weeks ago they called to inform me that they were "moving" to a new location and classes would be halted until Mid-May. I called yesterday 5/7/08 and talked to the old director. Bay Area Credit Service LLC sent me a letter saying I took an ambulance and that I needed to pay almost $700 to them, but that if I paid it within 30 days they would except $200!!! That is insane, I have never been in an ambulance before. I C Systems calls my parents house non- stop several times daily looking for someone who does not live there, and hasn't lived there in 20 years! My parents are elderly and in poor health, and told this creditor not to call again, but the ignorant jerk told them he would call until he got the person he was looking for. I have also received a summons from the local sheriff's office stating I am being sued by Midland Funding. Since I have been doing some research, I learned that they have bought my account from someone else. I got a copy of my credit report trying to see if I could figure out the original creditor is. I found two accounts on my report for the same exact amount. One is Midland and the other is presidio/CM, no clue who they are. This looks like a double reporting for the same debt. I received a letter from Northland Group saying i had won 100, 000 USD from a canadian lottery. they then sent me a $ 3, 550 check to cash and pay alleged tax charges for the winnings. Of course i've never entered the lottery, leave alone one in Canada, so i looked up the company and sure enough here the company is... with tons of lawsuits up their back... i suppose they'd have taken a similar, if not more money from my account if i had tried to cash the check... buggers!! watch out everyone read full review »

This company has a message that you automatically give consent to have your call recorded. Based on my state law, it is illegal if you request before-hand that the call NOT be. I requested that the call not be recorded and was told "no...It will not be". After some banter, which included the agent "fishing" for info for which I did not embellish, including info that I was a student (which I am not!) I am attempting to pay off a medical debt that I owe. However, they are insisting that I owe $1100.40 but I have made several payments and the debt amount is now only $260.24. They indicated attempts at contacting several months ago, but nothing recent and no hard-copy statement received for months. Suddenlink forced us after moving to return our equipment in person. The reps in Austin TX all have said they can't believe that, but we verified Branson, MO is the only one in the nation that has this rule. So, since we moved nearly two hours away, they said they would put a note on the account to extend our time to return it. This company is such a scam. I ordered from them twice. The results were so bad that I cannot imagine that the good reviews here are not written by someone in their company. And I feel sure that they remove any negative reviews from the website. My first order for a pair of jeans was to be made to my measurements following their instructions. In the recent past we've had good luck with the plumbing crew from Aspect Maintenance. However, we didn't have such good fortune with their gas heater work. The guy changed the circuit board that is supposed to regulate the heat, but instead of doing that, it just starts and stops all the time independent of setting making it impossible to get a decent hot shower or to bathe our toddler unless we're lucky enough to catch it at the right time. I purchased my Swim-Mor Pool in 2002. It cost close to $30, 000. Within two years we had structural problems. This included falling tile, plaster cracks, and loose coping. I bought a swatch irony. It has a metal band with black plastic inserts. The plastic is rubbish and break constantly. I have twice replaced the band. Do not deal with ishopit.com who is the same owner as officetronics.com. The owner is a Korean owned shop by Philip Kim from Los Angeles. He has defrauded the American people for millions of dollars by selling used and refurbished goods as new.
