I received a collection notice, stating the Original Creditor is Verizon Communications and that I should NOT contact them. The phone number is bogus. It is not even in the correct area code to where I live! They suggest that it is in my best interest to resolve this account. They threaten a negative credit report reflecting on my credit record if I fail to fulfill the terms. They refer to Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices act. I shall contact the FTC to report this fraud. I hope others do the same. Border linx advertises that you can get an item shipped and they look after everything including duties. You prepay all these costs. I received a U.S. address to order goods and then Borderlinx ships the goods from the U.S. to Canada. The adress is actually a DHL branch. Borderlinx has an exclusive partnership agreement with DHL. Vueling has really bad service and refund policy. As a regelar flyer between Barcelona and Amsterdam Im forced to use a lot of Vueling flights. I know they hardly fly on time so that isn't even a surprise anymore. During the Icelandic ash clouds they couldn't perform 4 flights that I was suposed to take. I ordered a couple of things from this website. I liked that they have a variety of cake decorating things, but when my order got processed, I noticed that the shipping cost is on the high side. I thought that my order will need to be packed in a bigger box. When my order arrived, it was a small Priority Mail box that cost about $4.80 to send. I was charged more than double! I had a short lease of credit card machines from these folks in 2000. they misrepresented their fees, and performance. I cancelled the lease, and returned the equipment...with a "Return Goods Authorization" number from them, and the use of their FedEx account.
