My wife signed with Delray CC after being told our payment would be $1250 a month (roughly what we were paying at the time). After our initial deposit the rate went up to $1335. We balked but accepted. A month later it went up to $1511. Again we were a bit shocked, but saw the payments being made to our creditors and looked at it as a faster resolution to our debt. Be careful ordering from mensusa.com - after ordering suits for a wedding - languages were downloaded on my laptop and next time I tried to log into my bank account - I was directed to a new page. Be oh so careful with this website. I went to the bank and changed all my account numbers. Also when I ordered the suits, I got all different suits. Used flimsy device just once to try to clear slight plumbing problem (slow drainage). After inserting flimsy snake into drain rotating it, tried to remove the snake, it got stuck about half-way the length of the snake, so pulled a little, it came apart First the red end, then the tip. This is a two part complaint, I have had problems with them they have lied and manipulated me into getting more money out of me. I have called them several times about mysterious charges and late fees only to get mystical answers that make no sense at all. LFG is definately very good at scamming... My problem started back in 2003 when i signed this lease agreement. @ days later the agent who had made the agreement disappeared and was no longer reachable. I obtained health insurance several years ago through a company called Midwestern or something. As a part of the application process I was asked to sign many many forms. One of the forms was an application for Alliance for Affordable Services. Very little if anything was said about this except that you have to sign this one to be eligible for the insurance. Adt security systems are having a special that if you have time warner cable service that you get a $300.00 rebate from your security system installation. I just received a bank payment with an unauthorized charge for 39.95 taken out by DRI. I called the phone number on my statement 1-877-414-5117 and did speak to someone. I was able to cancel my account which I didn't open, but after arguing with them for quite awhile, I was unable to have my money refunded in anyway. We even made sure they were aware that there are several similar complaints we found. My husband and I checked out of this hotel and paid cash after the clerk told us our debit card had not been debited yet. I held the room with me card on the phone but at check out paid for the room in cash. The amount was also deducted from my bank account. I have called and complained so many times and was told they couldn't reverse the debit. I now have to try to go through my bank and fill out a dispute charge form. This is crazy. We bought Trip Mate insurance from Melrose Travel in Philadelphia in good faith and we cannot understand Trip Mate's ongoing dissembling, use of long paragraphs of ‘boilerplate’ in their communications and general attempts to confuse the issue. I purchased a projector lamp for my television from this company. Electrified Discounters advertised lamps as "OEM Equivalent", yet the lamp failed less than two months after installation. Quality OEM lamps last in excess of two years, so a two month service life is unacceptable. Unfortunately, the two-month warranty had already passed when I installed the lamp, and Electrified Discounters has refused any sort of refund, even a prorated refund. I refinanced my new Ford with my Bank and got a better rate than Ford Credit. I had paid a couple of thousand dollars for Gap Insurance which needs to be refunded. I asked for the refund in late August and its December and still getting the run around. I purchased, via the internet, a replacement bag for my Polaris pool cleaner at the end of October, 2008. By April, 2009, one side of the velcro strip that holds the bag closed had pulled away from the bag, making it impossible to keep the bag closed. I contacted the company, explained the problem, asked for a replacement but have not gotten a response of any kind. I can't say that all of this company's merchandise is defective, but I can certainly say that their customer service is. I ordered a trial on their product for me and my wife on 10/20/08 and the girl told me that the trial period ran 15 days from that date, 2 weeks I called because I had not you received the product and I canceled any further shipments. Today I received my credit card statement and there are two charger for $69.95 on 11/9/0 and on 11/11/08 and no charge for the original order of $9.90.
