The WaterGarden Condominiums is supposedly one of the nicest buildings on Las Olas Boulevard in Ft. Lauderdale. Before you move in, you should check on the condo board policies. Many of the rules make absolutely no sense. For instance, one rule states that the doorman will only accept boxes that are less than 6 (six) cubic feet. Why spend the money to live in a doorman building when the doorman doesn't provide any support to the residents. In Sept 2009, we purchased 3 palm trees from Stacks Nursery. We paid to have Stacks Nursery plant them so that it would be done right. We had a warranty on the trees. I just moved to another apartment in the same complex. So for the older apartment NWP has charged a GAS bill of $278. This bill is for 20 days of March and April and May, 2010. We are a customer of D & D in the past and on June 14th D & D sent Romeo out to do work on a new construction house across the street. In February, 2007, I locked in a five year contract with EasyMax to supply electricity @ 7cents/KWH. This rate was in place until July, 2008. At that time, without my consent, EasyMax put me on the floating rate. When I complained in March, 2010, I was told that my account would be adjusted to correct the overcharge. My husband and I bought a 15' X 48" Intex above ground metal frame pool from Walmart about a month ago. We couldn't wait to set it up so our family could enjoy it. I hired rainmangutters and roofing to install my gutters, these people were recommended by service magic. Rainman gutters keeps giving me the run around about repairing the gutters on my home that they installed and is now coming loose from the face board. these people keep telling me they'll take care of it but they never show up, They keep giving piss poor excuses one after another. Do not use rainman gutters...you can find better. Hired this guy to build a garage for me. Pretty good at telling me what I wanted to hear. He cashed the deposit within the hour after he picked it up. After 100 days, I still had only a muddy mess and unfinished foundation. He stopped answering my repeated calls and email. In all, I loss two thirds of my money. these guys took 7 weeks to replace my lawn after they told me it would only take 3 weeks. I had to keep following up with them to find out what the heck was going on. They finally come to rip up the yard that they had sprayed Round-Up on 6 weeks ago and busted one of my sprinker heads. When we first bought it, pieces broke off the draws and draw sliders during the first year we had it. Purchased a Troy-Bilt Lawn Edger Model TBE575 and have used it less than 25 hours. After having to replace two belts, it stopped working altogether and I was informed by the repair shop that it was not worth fixing. Getting Troy-Bilt customer service to respond, by e-mail, phone or letter is fruitless. Troy-Bilt used to make reliable products when they were factory order only. I hired them to fill in a pool. 1) They had to drain the water out. They did not drain all the water. 2) They where to make drain holes in bottom of pool. Did not do this, Reason: Their was water in the pool that they did not remove. 3) Knock in the side walls of pool. Don't ever use House Dr. Painting Co out of San Jose CA. This is by far the worse company in every possible area! Pressure wash was half done, paint chips left everywhere, prep was awful, finish product peeled off the walls within 2 hours! I called Gillece to set up an appointment to have my air conditioning unit looked at. I set a time later in the day, 4:00, so that I would only have to miss some work. At 5:35 still no call from the technician so I called them and was told that there was not even a technician in my area. When I asked well will one be out for my confirmed appointment, for which I received an email as well as verbal confirmation of, the dispatcher said I don't know and really didn't even seem to care. I purchased a silestone countertop several years ago from Home Depot and have been trying to get my problem fixed on and off since then. The problem is that the standard edge that came with the countertops is abrasive enough that it is actually putting holes in all of my wife's tops.
