On 12/16/2006 we purchased two Serta Genesee Top Mattreses from Mattress Warehouse. The sale at the time was ...buy one mattress and get the second one free. We bought the queen size mattress and opted for a single mattress as the free one. A year later, we had the queen mattress replaced because it sagged terribly. It was used on a daily basis. We ordered a stock item in very early March. We were quoted that it would take 6-8 weeks for delivery from Quebec (16 hour drive from here). $3000 for a Monogram oven and when the timer goes off it is so soft it can't be heard from across the room. The oven has 3 loudness settings, very very soft (almost silent), very soft, and soft. After working for this company on a few occasions as subcontract labor, working out of town for $150.oo a day, was given a check @ 1:30 AM in the dark after completing a job, after accepting it, trusting his honesty would be true, came to find that i was shorted $50.00 compensation. Long story short, 2001 acquired an equity loan on my home with Centex. Same situation as all the other complaints I've read on here. I have purchased not 1, not 2, but 3 Rowenta irons since 2002. The first 2 irons that stopped working I blamed on my son who was home from college using it each time. This third iron, a model DX6900 has a short in the power cord that goes into the iron. I can some time wiggle the cord to get the iron to power on. Today, it is completely not working. I called last week because of a broken pipe that was connected to my outside spigot. No water could flow to the outside of the house for my hose. I talked to someone named Don i believe. June 2009. I was just screwed by this company too. I ordered a beaded curtain, charges were immediately applied to my credit card ($113), and I never received the curtain. They promised to credit my card, but they never did. I have threatened filing a class action lawsuit - I don't know if I can, but I will consider it if it's possible.
