On Friday, October 2nd, DYFS was alerted to two minors (ages 6 and 10) being home alone for hours after school in a house with no way to call out in case of emergency due to a lack of working telephones in the home. On July 10, 2006 we ordered a replacement receiver due to issues with the original. We were told we could install it ourselves, but elected to pay the fee to have it done by a professional technician. The earliest date for installation was 8 days later.
