My refrigerator has been out of order since sunday july 9, 2006. I called the work ticket number 718-707-7771. I filed the complaint on monday july 7, 2006 the maintenace worker came by and told me the freezer had too much ice and to defrost it for 24 hours by leaving the freezer door open. I had to take all of my meat to my neighbor and leave my milk, eggs etc in the frigerator. The maitenance worker said that the food in the frigerator would be ok as long as i left the door open. Date is inappropriate. Anyway, for years the Canon drivers for their canoscan Lide scanners are terrible. Won't scan, if they do it's slow, often crash, at best get 2 scans before requiring a restart of the computer. I had to pay an extra $40 for a third party scan software (vuescan.) I ordered the complete set of NYPD Region free DVDs as, other than series 1, they are not available in the UK. The disks actually shipped from Canada. The disks are NOT original disks but homemade copies taped from various US and UK TV stations. The picture and sound quality is appalling, some disks don't play at all, parts of episodes are missing. I purchased from Menards a mastercraft door. I since, learned that Mastercraft is owned by Menards. Door was installed in December 2009. My father purchased a phone from Phones4U for my Christmas present December 2006. The phone started turning itself off and refusing to charge at the beginning of December 2007. On 6/7/10 I ordered a replacement thermostat for my Charbroil electric Patio Grill. I used it about 3 times and last night it just stopped. I called customer service and was told that when I ordered the thermostat I had to also order a replacement heating element or it would short the thermostat out--which it did. Do not buy this machine! I paid good money for this machine and with in the year we have nothing but problems. First of all it "walks" all over the place. But we fixed that by putting a 1 in thick rubber mat underneath the machine. It also doesn't spin all of the way so I have to keep resetting it on to "extended spin".
