Wachovia Dealer Services is the worst auto financing company I have ever dealt with! Their employees are rude, ignorant, and blatantly pigheaded! Beware of doing business over the internet with EliteXtremes base out of Florida. They charge you fully for the products ordered and then do not send them. You call to inquire about your order and they inform you it is on backorder. Why do you charge fully for an order you do not have in the warehouse? Previous experience with reputable companies is we charge when we mail your item, not so with Elite Xtremes. Universal fidelity took money out of my account without my authorization. I called them twice, they refused to credit the money back to my bank account. The person I talked to yelled at me the whole time, and said that they take money out of accounts quite often without the consumers authorization. I asked him if they were going to put it back into my account, he said "probably not". I ended up calling my bank and they stopped the payment, and we are going to file a fraud claim against Universal Fidelity. They will not win this one. Thanks read full review »

I placed an order with townhouselinens and the next day they abruptly canceled my order, but gave me the option to reorder at a cost of $5.00 more than I originally paid. When I finally spoke to a person, he told me the item was out of stock - not noted on the website- and they could charge me now and pre-order it for me, not knowing when more will be there. Several months ago I suscribed to Prevention Magazine, a Rodale publication. After realizing what a stupid magazine it is, I cancelled the subscription. In 2001 we purchased a car that was originally financed with another company. Citifinancial ended up with the loan. At one point, I sent in 2 payments. Several weeks later I received a letter in the mail stating they were going to repossess my car if I didn't bring my loan current within 10 days. When I called them, they showed no record of the payment. I had sent a Western Union money order. At that point they required 2 MORE payments up and beyond the $900 I had just sent them. Virgin Media is far and away the world's worst customer service company. It is not surprising that the company is up for sale again. Anyone mad enough to buy them can expect the worst. Whatever due diligence they have done on the company will not prepare them for what they find on the ground. My own experience was an install from hell. I went and bought The Sims 3 and it sucks. Wow you can make really cool people, but that's it...what about different lots where you can build your own houses? All this game is...is boring. I was signed up for California lifeline services. After one year didn't get the new form or the new bill that was now almost double my monthly amount. I called them to make my regular payment of @29.97. Mr. Jose Gonzalez who took the payments, says Oops, I made a mistake. Charged you $75 by mistake. I went to Comerica Bank to purchase a money order for $90. I layed the cash on the counter and was told that I could not just purchase a money order with U.S. Currency. I had to withdraw the money from my account and then purchase the money order. The manager told me that they were complying with homeland security rules and that the teller could go to jail for not complying. On 17 July I mistakenly overdrew my account due to an error in calculations. This was a mistake on my part and I immediately deposited funds into my account once I discovered my error, and brought the account up to date a day later. I bought my car in 2005. Have never encountered any problem so far apart from the general deficiency of lack of proper ground clearance due to which even on small humpy roads on ocassions the bottom touches these humps and negotiating big humps that too with full passengers on board has to be done very very slowly. Castaway Pools and Spas installed a pool at my home on 4/5/07. They have never came back to finish the job despite numerous phone calls and letters sent to their office. Their salesman john refuses to answer any phone calls. I would advise anyone in the tristate area to be aware of this company. Carpeting: I had a horrible experience when I recently purchased 95 yards of carpet and pad from CarpetMaster in Latham. They did not remove the old pad and install the new pad even though i paid for the pad and the removal of the old pad and installation of the new pad. They did not come when scheduled.
