I purchased a DCS 5 burner range unit about 3 years ago. It worked fine until 6 months ago when the igniter would not stop clicking. The service people have been here to fix it 6 times in the last six months. I tried to call Fisher & Paykel direct, but hung up after 15 minutes on hold. I was kind enough to bump off a flight that United Airlines had overbooked. I sat in the airport quite a few hours waiting for the next flight. I have not used my voucher yet and now we have an emergency where I need to use it. From Nov.2004 to Nov. 2005, I was overcharged for gas to heat an apartment that I rented. I was forced to pay the said amount in the spring, and after I threatened to sue them,they sent me an unexplained refund of $600., and in addition,refunded the property owner over $1000. for the gas that had been used in my unit during the year 2004-2005. I was woken at 1 o'clock this morning by someone calling from bit.tv - calling from 08701666667. Since then I have had 5 other calls. I have repeatedly said that I have not ordered anything from bid.tv and yet the calls still keep coming. I believe that bid.tv is part of Virgin Media. I had a pipe leak Nov 2006 that required emergency plumber visit. the plumber came and quoted me $1000 to repipe a small section, less than 3 feet. It was a Sunday and veterans day weekend so i let him go ahead and do the work. this plumber and this company takes advantage of other people's situation. the quote is overpriced. normally something like that costs not more than $500 being a Sunday, holiday weekend and emergency. cannot understand how this company in good conscience charge me that amount. Purchases GE Profile Wahser year ago. Thougght I was upgrading by purchasing a Profile appliance. Mother Board went 1 year and 1 month after purchase. I'm told by entering your email and zip code you are agreeing to the terms and conditions. This is complete fraud and illegal. The charge comes through as Easy Saver or EMI Encore Marketing. I ordered a wallpaper mural from these people, and when my installer (a professional handyman) tried to install the first panel, the paint and paper came off. When I called the company, their "sales manager", Dan, was rude, abusive, condescending, and arrogant to both my installer and me. This problem is ongoing since CVS took over the company a few years ago. They lose prescriptions, change refill status for no known reason, refuse to retain updated new information and mismanage their website so badly that I have had to set up a new account (twice) and cannot use their website to refill scripts.
