Placed order with Eastern Lettering on Feb. 23rd, paid $17.63 for 2nd Day Air, received order on Feb. 28th to P.O. Box in Priority Mail envelope marked $4.95 postage. I was shorted a 3" number. Contacted the company requesting the missing number and credit and they responsed "We use a fee based courier service when shipping our items, as we are too busy to package our own. I have had it with Barnes and Nobles. I decided after better judgement to give the on-line a go as I needed the Berlitz Spanish cds in short order. You showed when ordered a 2-3 business day turn and did not indicate it would take 8 days to ship this product. Be aware of all the ins and outs with this company, they use very deceptive practices when doing business. We only once ever actually got a small job from there leads, but for the most part there leads are a joke, they do not screen the jobs / projects they post as they say they do, and on many occasions i have had a client tell me they had gotten pricing from 6 or more contacts from construction deal, when what they advertise to those buying leads is that they only send it out 4 times then it goes away. Signed up for a free trial after reading ALL terms and conditions, then I had to CALL to cancel my membership and when I did they said that I hadn't signed up for the free trial, that they "don't even offer a free trial". I literally was on the membership for 10 minutes and they said the best they could do was credit me 50% of my money back since there was a misunderstanding on my part. DRYWALL The drywall of the residence appeared 'Wavy, and not straight' when Pulte was advised of this problem we were advised the drywall on the lids (Ceilings) of some rooms would need to be replaced, some rooms would be floated, and re-textured. Recently had these guys out to my house to fix a problem w/ my dryer. They misdiagnosed the problem and will not refund the outrageous $75 service fee. In a mere three minutes at my house, the guy diagnosed a broken blower and said it'll be $400 to fix. Alternatively, I could take my receipt for my $75 service fee to Sears to just buy a new one. My American Standard Silhouette Double Bowl Kitchen Sink (undermount) is less than 4 years has two chips and the porcelain is badly stained. The 30 yr old sink I replaced was in better condition. American Standard has offered a full refund of the sink but will provide nothing to have the defective one taken out and replaced. Since it is an undermount with a slab granite top I'm looking at $800-1000 to get it fixed.
