We experienced a problem with Optimum when we were misinformed by an Optimum Representative in regards to billing and payments. We were under the impression that we had an additional 2 days to make our payment of 160. I downloaded cyberdefender from a freeware site (yea- I know, you get what you pay for). I ran it and it found LOTS of problems that Windows LiveCare didn't. HOWEVER, this freeware only identifies "problems". You have to register and pay to remove these mysterious problems. Here's where it gets fun. If you buy a dishwasher and are expecting Home Depot to install it know that the contractors are not licensed plumbers. If you have PVC piping or the connectivity is not straightforward the delivery people will not install it. If you are this category and insist on purchasing a dishwasher from Home Depot, make sure you can either install it yourself or have a licensed plumber at hand. I brought my Santa Fe to Good year to repair a check engine light that continued to come on and off. I was told it needed extensive work besides the repair to the check engine light. I dealt with a gentleman named Kevin. The repair work was done and paid for in the amount of $1,943.94 and after two days the check engine light came back on. To whom it may concern. A friend of mine from Accra, Ghana had made plans to fly klm to Dublin Ireland. He got a price from the airlines and proceeded to pay for his transit visa to Amsterdam. He paid for it but when he went to purchase his airplane ticket they increased the price by over 200 euros. Since he could not afford this price he went to another airline. KLM had given him a different price just a few days earlier. Now he is out the price of his transit ticket and went on another airline. There is something not right about this. Could you explain? If that's the way your going to run things, train your employs to tell all customers that if you want to return an item, there will be a store credit issued. Digitel is advertising several plans for DSL ranging from 384Kbps to 1.5Mbps under the Bida program bunndled with a landline. After installation of a Bida 1232/832 Kbps line, it only tested an average of 431Kbps. The best I got was 450Kbps so it was close in every test in the mid 400 range or half of the advertised 832Kbps. Ordered a stove to be installed in January, 2010 from Home Everything. Home Everything arranged for shipping and install with AM Home Delivery and there the trouble began. The AM Home Delivery "Installers" damaged the counter top by not unscrewing the old stove from the counter top (basic task) and tearing part of the counter top up so all of the counter top needs to be replaced ($1, 350).
