I've been buying only Big O tires for years, but a new policy cost me $120 to replace a tire that should have been free under what I thought was their warranty. What happened: Major blowout on the freeway, shattering 1/3 of the sidewall and splitting 1/2 the tire from the tread. This service repair shop is the worst! I thought that by taking it to a dealer repair shop I would at least have peace of mind but I was wrong. I brought my car in for an oil change and they called me saying I needed $1200 worth of work. I had just had a 15K mile scheduled maintenance 3K miles ago and somehow they didn't spot the problem they said I now have, and the warranty was up which meant I had to pay for it this time. My son purchased a vehicle on July 19, 2010 form a private owner. That owner had the A/C serviced by Sun Devil on July 10, 2010 The A/C stopped working on July 30, 2010 so my son brought it back to Sun Devil for repair. He had a copy of the receipt from the previous owner which stated a 90 Warranty on the work. They would not honor the warrenty since the vehicle had changed owners. One hand does not know what the other is doing thats for sure, they told me i had to get a prescription. I had my doctor send in a fax to get a small breathing tank. Qantas cancelled flights we booked for some Japanese visitors, in poor health, and on a tight schedule. The flight was booked for 10.00am. My mother and I went to the year end sale of Swarovski to buy some crystals. As there was a big queue of customers waiting outside we were only allowed to shop for 15 minutes. Stay away from Red Roof Inn. Particularly the one in Williamsburg, Virginia. We went for a vacation and checked out a day early. The bill was $247 and charged to a credit card for that amount. When I received the credit card bill, the amount billed by Red Roof Inn was $308. The corporate office refused to correct the charge saying it was the business of the franchise owner in Williamsburg. The Williamsburg Red Roof Inn refused to return phone calls. It's now in dispute with the credit card company. Clearly a bunch of crooks. And the room had a cockroach problem as well. I was injured on the job working for a large photography studio. Gallagher Bassett refused to pay any bills or pay for health care I needed for a herniated disc in my back. Now after 2 years of no help from the company I settled for next to nothing with the company and now I just had surgery and am partially paralyzed in my leg and tremendous back pain because of lack of cooperation of gallagher bassett and a nationwide large photography company. Have had a personal loan with capital one for 60 months, the final payment was due 1/3/09, I called their auto telephone to see what the status of my account was, it did not match my records, so I called their customer service line and wow, what a mess, first of all no one I talked to could speak english, I had had my payment automaticly deducted from my bank for 59 months, no problems, I asked why my last payment was not taken from my bank and I was told I had to mail the final payment in as a letter had been sent to me. I got Riddex plus to get rid of bugs in my apartment, 2 months now and the bugs are still around. Now I have to smell the fumes of the spray. A company should not be allowed to sell a product without science proof about their claims. Instead of paid off statements from who knows who. I was waiting for three years to get DSL in my outland area, it finally became available late last year. I requested their ISP DSL service. However, I found out that after years of having no long distance service (did not want it or need it because I have cell phones) the automatically put me into their long distance service. My wife and I have received several debt collection calls in an attempt to collect an alleged outstanding bill with Sears Credit Card Services. The amount they give us is $49.++ They state that they have spoken to us on different occasions and that we know about the bill and that it has been reported to the credit bureaus. We bought our Platinium Collection home in 02/2007... we could go on forever about what has gone wrong since... here are some of the highlights. In 2002, we got Alarm-One security system installed in our home in Hoffman Estates (IL). The contract for the equipment was signed for 3 yrs, after which we were told we could cancel at any time.
