FM windows replaced all our windows a few years back. One of the reasons we purchased windows from FM Windows and Doors was because they had a lifetime guaranty. I reviewed my credit card statement for the last two months and saw monthly charges of approximately fifteen dollars to Value Plus Monthly. I did not authorize these charges and want the charges to stop immediately and be reimbursed for my previous payments. Purchased a bathing suit from this company returned it as per their return policy they never credited my account for the return. Had my CC company remove the charge. Now I have been turned over to collections for the entire amount of the purchase and shipping and handling plus some. I did exactly what their return policy stated and still was taken for a ride. We have a rental insurance policy with Travelers and after experience a loss due to a hot water heater leaking and overflowing we contacted Travelers. Art Adams service person stated there was a leak in the evaporator coil based only on the frosted coil. It must be replaced, $757 total. The unit was still working, but not fully cooling any longer even at ther highest setting. My experience is that this is a sign of low freon charge level. I am an engineer and have successfully repaired and recharged whole house and automotive units in the past. Travelers insurance appraises the vehicles that they have to pay for. Their appraisers always value the vehicle very low to keep their costs low. I was only offered 65 percent of nada value on my "above average " vehicle. They take an average vehicle price, then their appraisers nit pick every single flaw on the vehicle to get the value as low as possible. They state that the apartments are individually metered, but no proof can be given. No one seems to know where the individual meters are and management will not show any. My husband and I had our services terminated even though we were not due to top up on our accounts until 11/21/06. Help, Kia has had me in the shop over ten times in a year because one of their dealers did not fix my car correctly when in warranty.
