Firstmark Credit Union
HanD54 December 11, 2009
I have been a loyal customer with Firstmark Credit Union and have banked with them 15 years. I have always utilized their direct deposit option. For the 2nd time in my history with this bank I over drafted with 3 purchases all under $20. I was charged $25 for each same day purchase. I explained to the representative that when I went online to check my account, I had available funds. This was a common error we all have made. However when I called the bank they advised that because this was MY error and Not theirs they could not reverse the... read full review »

Cosmetology Institute of Florida
cosmo2014 September 28, 2009
This school is bad. There are many unhappy clients and former/current students. I have witnessed first hand the damage the owner of the school has done to students and clients. This is a hostile environment. The owner is a racist person whom has a tendancy to be violent and physically intimidate students. You will not get your education there because there are no qualified teachers. Your money will be taken and you may be kicked out before your graduation date for some insane reason. Students are put on the floor during their first... read full review »

Questia
Ragan January 13, 2009
Questia is an online library. It has various subscription plans. Two years ago, I opted for a yearly plan. When you subscribe to Questia, you can't just subscribe for only one year and that's that. They force you to enter a perpetual agreement that is renewed every year, and is billed by Questia withdrawing from your bank account without telling you. This perpetual subscription can only be stopped if you cancel. (At least that was the case based on the subscription plans available when I subscribed two years ago.) The cost was $100... read full review »

Construction Pipeline
Hugo21 November 5, 2010
DO NOT ever do any business with CONSTRUCTION PIPELINE, they sell construction leads to contractors, Most of their leads are repeated leads, you will most likely pay a high price for the leads. They will deduct monies from your account without your approval and once you complain they will not re-reimburse you right away. It took 2 months for me to get my money back. Once I finally received my money back they deducted another payment from my account again. I had to change accounts so that this company would not deduct money from my account... read full review »

Group Health
June 29, 2007
I have had group health for over 3 months now... in this time, I have not once been able to get an appointment with my primary care physician. I was told to "make an appointment two weeks out." Well we can't all know 2 weeks ahead of time when we are going to get deathly ill are we? I finally got an appointment with another doctor, and they did a swab culture of my nose to test for a staph infection. Two days later I got an e-mail from the doctor that I had never seen before, saying that the results of my "vaginal... read full review »

Urban Active/Paramount Acceptance took 192.15 from my checking account that was not authorized and will not give it back to me. They have givin me the run around with when and how I will get this back. They incorrectly debited my account on 11-19 and told me I would have my $$$ back in 24 hours. 15 days later I have nothing and they refuse to help. Their mistake caused a lot of grief b/c I have other things on auto withdrawl. I would not recommend joining this health club. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau as well. Paraco Gas
Nataly April 3, 2009
When we built our home back in 2005, our builder recommended a propane company named Blue Flame Gas. We had them install a propane tank and supply our propane from that point forward. I did find out until 4/1/09 that Blue Flame Gas was bought out by Paraco Gas in November, 2008. Up until this winter we had no problems with our propane delivery. Blue Flame Gas delivered our propane, left a bill in our door, and we promptly paid the bills. Starting this winter, when we received our propane delivery, we did not receive a bill. Etsy
Mekunove April 2, 2010
As both a seller and consumer on etsy for the better part of 3 years, I can say with much experience that the vendors, for the most part, are reputable, hard working people who stand by their products. The products are, for the most part, as described and well made. The rub, however, is with the "etsy team", or management personnel. If you are a vendor be prepared to be subjected to abuse galore. The rules are not for the "etsy team" to follow, but rather interpret at whim. Finally, if you are a minority of any ethnicity and... read full review »

Hiram Waste and Recycling apparently has no problem not honoring a contract. We signed up two years ago for home trash service picked up twice weekly at a rate much less than the competition.
