They called my home despite the Do Not Call list, a pre-recorded message asked a series of "yes" or "no" answers, never explaining the purpose of the call or what they were selling...my elderly father answered the call and unsuspectingly answered their questions. I used George for many years. He has always been challening to get ahold of and pin down. Two years ago I had the following experience. He strung me along for many month and I constantly got the run around. Eventually (around June), he got my returns done and was apologized etc. Last year was similar but not nearly as protracted. I purchased a Maytag gas stove model #MGR5751BDS in July of 2008. This product failed right out of the box. First the oven clock stopped working, then the burners had trouble, then the oven started cooking at random temperatures, finally it failed completely. I have called Maytag numerous times and have had a number of service calls (each service call meant two visits by A&E: one to assess the problem, two when the parts arrived to install them). Terrible Company! They were very nice over the phone, but I had to call them FOUR times after they didnt show for an appointment to get them to show up! I am corresponding, through e-mail, with SBI Cards for the last few weeks and on not being satisfied with responses, so sent by SBI Cards, today at 11.00 a.m. I called their Help Line Number 18001801290, which was picked-up by Mr. Rohit, who informed me that he was from their Gurgaon Call Centre.

I ordered flowers from Pro-flowers last September 2008. Easy Save has been charging my charge card $14.95 each and every month from Sept. 2008 to May 2009. I read the other complaints and called the 800-444-9491 number and talked to "Linda". Was mislead stating the equipment was FREE, then told afterwards was free to use. The contract you view online will show comments that do not show up after you sign. Will not follow through with rates agreed upon. Very poor customer service, high turnover of employees, so you'll never beable to deal with the rep who signed you up. Hi all! Today I was surprised how this company (Avanti) acted very rude and unprofessional towards their customer. During one hour of experience with them when I checked my cell phone call out log I happened to call them 7 times and still didn't get any result, even though I was trying to work it out with them but they was not willing to listen. On the website pettags shows tags with large print. I ordered a tag for my dog and the print was so small I (w/20/20 vision) could barely read it. I can't imagine someone finding my dog and being able to read her name and the #s printed on it! When I called the woman I spoke with was rude and said she's been printing (ripping people off) these for 20 years. Even on the ads I received with the tag the print appears larger! To top it off, it was sent with an 's' hook to attach to the collar with pliers--as if my dog will forever have the same collar! I had to replace rear passenger-side tire that was damaged due to pothole. Upon inspection, a gentleman whom I suspect to be a service manager suggested new tire to replace the damaged one and provided an exact quote of for the tire and installation. I authorized the installation of new tire, and the associate installed Fuzion 245/45/R17 tire to replace the damaged one. Booked a four hour, three-winery tasting tour with Mr. Dieters. Required credit card payment in full at time of booking. Dieters cancelled tour by calling the hotel desk clerk (had my cell phone number but was apparently avoiding talking directly to me) and left message that he was cancelling tour due to family emergency. Also, there is a NO REFUND policy, so no refund would be issued. When call was returned, was refused refund, and hung up on. Therefore, no service was provided, and money was kept. Instead of taking the time to get my add correct they tried to sell me more services when they returned my calls. Of course my add was completely wrong. I designed one with a picture they didn't display. Instead, it was an ugly blue box with my businesse's name. They had also mixed information from my old business with the new add. Their TV commercial states that you'll be paid to complete surveys and "never pay a fee". VERY misleading. For one, THEY don't charge a fee, but they also don't offer anything at all.
You fill out a form & "get instant access to our FREE database of online survey companies" This "database" is just links to other sites. I gave up on the few surveys I tried because of the catches, like minimums that are hard to reach before you can ever receive any money.

I ordered an expensive item online at www.microcenter.com and after several hours, no e-mail acknowledgment of order was received. I called store and was told a salesperson would call me back. Salesperson, to their credit, was able to place item on 24hr hold. Next day, still no e-mail from online store, however I was able to pay for and pickup product. I basically ended up in the old brick and morter and phone order pipeline. The e-commerce pipeline is clearly broken at Microcenter.

I signed up for a free 7 day trial with Classmates.com and then canceled the subscription to Classmates. In April, when I received my credit card statement there was a charges from ap9*athomerewards+-v for $19.95 not once, but twice. All the information that was on my credit card statement was a 1-877-636-6858 CT no physical address was listed. I should have closed out my credit card account the first time. Now, I am disputing the charges.

Need for digital were advertising the new canon powershot s90 for $321 on cyber monday, so I ordered, and for some strange reading I actually took a screen shot of my order. Glad I did!
I received an email from them saying I had to call them about my order. Guy on the phone said I had entered the wrong zip code for my billing address, but since I had the screen shot I knew that was not true.

This company FBK Products sold me septic products to keep my system from failing. I followed the guidelines and upgraded to better products when suggested. They then sold me a warranty policy to cover any damages to my system, pumping, failed leach fields etc. and then when the products did not work and my system failed due to a sludge in the lines the company would not honor the warranty agreement.

I ordered a bender ball after seeing the infomercial. After the thirty day 'trial period' they sent me two DVD’s, with out any sort of invoice, with a flier stating that if you want a refund to call. I took my computer in to get fixed in Nov of 2008 to Park Slope Computers. The issue I had was that I was not able to connect to a network due to a problem with a network switch on the outside of the computer. Everything else on the computer was 100% functional. Snapper 42" ZTR Mower
I've been very disappointed with the lack of robust design on my 42" ZTR mower. Twice in a 3 year period the idler pulley for the deck drive has worn on it's pivot pin causing the belt to jump off the pulleys. I gave up on their design and put in an added support for it but shouldn't have to on a mower at his price point.
I now have an issue where the right hand drive has no power and is causing a driving issue. Just shouldn't happen. It gets annual maintenance, is low hours and has an easy ride.
I like the mower but seriously doubt if I'll ever buy another Snapper. read full review »

On 04/27/2010 I completed an offer via TrialPay in order to receive free episodes of Family Feud, a game I play frequently on the internet. The offer itself was deemed as "immediate" and referenced that I would receive the 36 episodes within 30 minutes. 30 minutes came and went, and now 3 days later I still haven't received credit. Face To Face Technologies
Two young girls appeared to be selling magazine subscriptions door-to-door in order to support their future educational desires in communications. I wrote a check for $57 to Face to Face Technologies for a two-year subscription to The Week. This occurred on 8-7-08 and I have not received the subscription and the check was canceled several days after it was written.
The Internet shows a number of "Rip-Off" listings for similar incidents.
What recourse do I have to receive a reimbursement for this scam of my funds? Please let me know.
