I purchased a mattress and box springs April 2003 from a local Bed Outlet. It was a Marsala Plush set with low profile Box. I recently applied for a Bank of America credit card. The offer that was mailed to me specifically stated, in at least 3 different places, "No Balance Transfer Fee". It was stated on the front of the offer as well as the back. I wanted to consolidate my debts so I transferred 4 balances totaling a little over $19,000 to the card. I had similar bad experiences with Chinavasion. Product was dead on arrival and looked like it was secnond hand anyway. It was a solar laptop charger. Their email replies were slow and ignored my issues. The telephone support number in china came up 'number does not exist' in both chinese and english. In July 2005 Chase claimed I was 30days late on my payment increasing my interest rate to 27%, my bank payment history showed I made a payment for the month of July also in April 2006 I made a payment of two thousand at the time I had a balance of over four thousand, on my May 2006 statement the balance was over 3 thousand dollars more than one hundred of fees was added.
