Target Grants
June 10, 2007
I keep getting $69.42 deducted from my bank for target grants (grant mentor) as well as withdrawals for several other unauthorized items: $39.95 dr reg.net -regnetord.com; $9.95 dr grant finder. I've tried calling each for refund and got nowhere. Just kept switching me. I never rec'd anything from these co. nor did i apply or order anything. I am disabled and on a fixed income from social security and can not afford to keep getting hit with these charges. I am also, unable to leave my home as i am in a wheelchair. read full review »

AmSouth Bank
May 23, 2007
AmSouth has taken over $700. in fees in the past year by using their "ledger balance/available balance" policy. I closed my account. An automatic auto insurance, which it was too late to stop, went to AmSouth. They RE-OPENED the account, charged $36.00 NSF fee and returned the item unpaid. In addition, they have 'past-posted' items to my account causing a cascade of artificial over-drafts. In one month, they posted a check written on Tuesday before 3 items which were pending on Sunday and presented for payment on Monday. This caused 4 over-draft fees. If anyone can find out who will listen to this, please let me know. read full review »

Visa Homeland
April 25, 2007
This company withdrew $159 dollars from my account that I never authorized. I don't know how they got my bank account information. The check came out of my current bank account in Wisconsin, but the address on the check was my old address in Colorado. When I got in contact with them they said I'd have to file a police fraud report, which could take awhile, but when I told them I lived in Wisconsin where this sort of thing is illegal, they said they'd send a document I could request a return on. So far I haven't gotten anything. Is there anything I can do? I'm not exactly rich. read full review »

Lululemon
Adie September 9, 2010
I have had one of the worst customer service experiences ever with Lululemon. I was given a gift card as a gift that was invalid when I tried to use it. It appears it had never been activated. The store where the card was purchased said it was an error but there was nothing they could do unless I could prove I purchased it. How often do you give someone a gift card and a receipt? NEVER! The store admitted if there had been money on it and it was used up it would show a certain message that was different from the invalid card message I wa... read full review »

Lending Club
GerberA21 October 23, 2009
When I tried to apply for a debt consolidation loan, Lending Club application did not include my husbands income or information. Their credit scoring said that Excellent credit score is 720. Mine is 742, and they still turned me down stating it was my credit score. How do people like myself get ahead when institutes like this disregard important loan information. I have money market account, and can even invest some of it. But they did not ask me that. It turned me down so fast that the whole process took less than 5 minutes. This is not fair treatment. read full review »

Engine & Transmission World
cowboys5x January 24, 2011
I ordered an engine through Engine & Transmission World back in October for my 2001 Cadillac DeVille. The engine they advertised online came with a Carfax report and only had 37k miles on it. When the shop received the engine they said it looked very clean. After installing the engine my wife drove the car for a day or two and it began to overheat. We took it back to the shop and they tried several different things. Finally, they thought it was the head gaskets. I called E&TM and they said they check the head gaskets on all engine... read full review »

Car Max
Not so savvy car buyer December 4, 2009
We all know how deceptive Car Companies can be, but it surprised me that Car Max, which is a self-described "no bullshit" car company would be running this scam. When you buy a car, in my case, a 2001 Lincoln Navigator, the salesman pressures you to buy the extended warranty. This is not cheap, in my case I purchased the warranty for $1800, figuring that a "no bullshit" company would have a "no bullshit" warranty. Surprisingly, such was not the case. Sears/Kenmore Dryer

My wife and I purchased a Kenmore front loading washer and dryer from Sears on May 17, 2010, in Rochester Minnnesota. In January of 2011 the dryer stopped heating. A service call was made, and the technician discovered that the thermostat(heating regulator) was the wrong model. How was this not caught in production? I would think that the production facility would have a QA team with the same tools as the technicians have. A diagnostic check at the end of production would have caught this. Better yet, why were the wrong parts put on that... read full review »

Then, buy heating oil like you would purchase gasoline for your car. Shop for the lowest price available and pay C.O.D. (cash on delivery). What most program consumers do not know will hurt them, that is if a program oil company does lower it price to one person then all others in the program should get the same discounted price but do they?
