I had this company recommended to me by my parents. The salesman came to my house to measure my windows and the next thing I know, he's taking me through a 4-hour, high pressure sales pitch. He quotes me one price at around $11, 000 for the high level windows and $10, 000 for medium. I decline. I just wanted an estimate and to compare them with other companies. In March of 2009, I started getting a charge on my Hydro One bill for Universal Energy. These charges were higher than the amount for usage. When I contacted Hydro One to find out what this charge was, they told me it was because I had signed with a third party provider. I hadn't signed anything with any body. Landscaping working sunk, which is expected he made promises that he would come back to fix work that would have settled. The owner is Nick and does not return calls. I contacted Mr Rooter DFW initially on Saturday, June 19th because a leak coming from my attic was discovered running out, onto my patio. I live in a condo that I purchased with a detached garage. The garage is equiped with an electric door opener and this works just fine. At my closing I was issued a key to the garage to use as a backup in the event of a power outage. As luck would have it the power went out recently due to a storm. I tried to open the garage door during the power outage and the key doesn't even turn in the lock cylinder hence unable to open the garage door. I have had a little giant sump pump from franklin electric, installed at my poolside cabana. This was needed because my septic system is uphill from the cabana. The cabana was not heavily used, thus the sump pump was not heavily used. It began to trip my gfi circuit early in it's life, the first week. Not sure what was going, we just re-set the gfi and hoped it was something that would clear itself. I purchased a large wool living room rug and rug liner from Jordan's furniture store and paid close to $1, 000. After a month it started shedding more than usual and it looked faded. I elderly parents have been trying to get Sears to repair or replace their centeral air and heat unit for 3 weeks. At one time the technicians were at their house everyday for a week. I ordered about 13 plants from this company in June 2009. When I received them they were all broken and molded. When I contacted them ( long distant) they told me to return the label along with a note telling them why I was requesting a replacement, which I did. Enclosed note stated ALL PLANTS were damaged. Hi i am a new client to johnson insurance and on this past friday our home filled with sewer back-up and then hours later we were flooded out. All the homes in the area that were affected are being covered under sewer back-up and my insurance company said i was as well. TopNotch Homes builder in Mass/NH is the absolute epitome of incompetence. After moving in my new home I found water coming in the basement between the top of the foundation and the wall. After removing the siding and disassembling the deck I saw the Moisture wrap (aka Flash Wrap) was nailed to the wall and the adhesive backing was never removed! Very unprofessional and unethical company - and we were dealing with the Owner who got involved once his sales reps dropped the ball a few times.
