I fell for the scam like everyone else. I was offered a $1000 shopping spree and this trial internet things and diet pills, and today I just found out that $149.50 was taken from my account. I'm 23 and a College Student, and my rent is due in a couple weeks, and what little money i had in my account-United Services wiped it free. I never said that they could take $149 from my account, and I don't appreciate them doing that. Not only that, my bank has now charged me an overdraft charge.
If there is any way of getting a refund from this company, please let me know. I want to warn people of companies and phone calls like this. read full review »

The company advertises that a customer would get 10% of ATT services charged to this card which is false and misleading. They pay you this reward only if you use the card to pay other businesses. read full review »

We have received several phone calls from this company first trying to verify employment and then garnishing someone wages. They have threathed to sue us if we do not help them. One person who call is Tara Johnson and another is names Gary at ext. 2360. read full review »

It's been close to 2 weeks since I first opened my account and it's still not working. 3 times I was promised a phone call from a supervisor. I am still waiting. Their customer services representatives are useless. I was denied talking to supervisor. Emails to customer service have gone un-responded. It's been 7 days since I was promised a solution in 48 to 72 hours. Etrade offers horrible customer service. I do not recommend this company. They are horrible. Inver Grove Ford and Ford corporate asked us to pay for work that was indentified and covered under our new car warrenty because our warrenty "had expired" by the time we were able to bring it back in for repairs. We called Ford and they stated that since it was 30 days past when the original find date there was nothing they could do... but that we could work a deal with the dealership as they have some "goodwill" money for situations like this. Be very wary when dealing with The Classic Car Connection in St. Catherines, Ontario Canada. I had a deal to purchase a car from them, which they then turned around and "changed their mind" and decided to keep the vehicle. <br />

Installed Pergo Presto flooring a couple of years ago. A panel was recently damaged, I obtained a new box from Home Depot. After unlocking planks to get out to the damaged one, and opening the box of new ones, I find that the length, width, and locking grooves do not match the existing floor! What do I have to do to get stuff that will fit togather? I do NOT want to have to replace the entire floor! Aside from not being particularly impressed with anything associated with Club Fitness, I joined any way. If I knew then what I know now...
Before you do anything CHECK THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU COMPLAINTS. Keep in mind that a lot of people try to resolve problems on their own and don't report to the BBB. I myself tried for three long months to cancel my membership and finally had to close the bank account that Club Fitness was charging. (After my sympathetic banker promised not to charge me for resulting overdrafts.) read full review »

Last winter asked if I could change my degree program from "Pastoral Ministry" to "Addiction Counselor" they my counselor said yes but that it would cost $25. Approximately two months later I got a call from my financial counselor that I owed the school an amount in excess of $2500! I finally got them to reverse it but they still (after much adieu) that I would receive only $900 in my refund this year for books and incidentals. I placed an order for a small $4.95 book through DBS Books. A few days after the order was placed I received and email stating that the book was unavailable and that the order was cancelled.
A couple of days later a company called Smart Savings Center charged my credit card for $12. I called them and complained about this charge, in which they stated that it was for a membership I had joined while ordering my book. I bought a book about a new technique for eliminating backpain. I charged the book on my credit card. I realized (3 months later) that I have been charged everymonth $19.95. When I called the company, they told me I checked the box for a "free" newsletter -- which I am sure I did not check any box, as I never do as a matter of fact -- the free newsletter being "free" only the first month, then they charge you a whopping $19.95/month automatically. When checking my online bank account noticed there were 3 charges for this "book". 2 for $9.95 each (I only selected one newsletter), and the $1 "shipping & handling".
Now tried to call customer CARE at 1-877-213-8238 to request partial refund. After several tries and receiving message "the number you dialed is invalid, please chec your number and try again", I'm stumped where to go next.
Anyone have suggestions, PLEASE? We are also on fixed income and just trying to find options to save money and be good to the envirionment at the same time.

I pre-ordered a book on Borders.com. I also ordered a second book. Since the first book was in stock I was charged for both books and the first one was shipped right away. The second books was released for the first time two months later. I waited two weeks. This guy is not a good teacher. I watched him teach and the students were all confused and he would get pissed at them for not understanding. This wasn't one or two people. First I called SMCORP a man sounded very friendly but to friendly. He asked me if I had a bank account I had replied no I don't. He asked me does anyone have a bank account I said yes, my mother does. So he asked me a few more questions. And he told me that I would have to wait for 9 to 15 days until I would see my package. Bought a pair of rimless glasses from them. Only wore them once or twice a week for 9 months and the arm fell off. All i wanted them to do was loosen the screws and put the arm back on. Several times now the owner of this services has charged me for services I suspect were not performed or that should have been paid by the tenant. Had he inspected the condo as he told me he would he would have known then while he had the previous tenants security deposit that the carpet needed cleaning, for which I got billed several months after the tenants deposit had been returned. Several other instances where he charged my credit card for other "services rendered" which he never contacted me about also. The man is a thief, beware this company. GEMB/JCP has received 3 certified letters from me all asking for proof that I had an account with JC Penney. None have ever been answered by them in any way. Since I know that I never had an account with them I know there really is no proof that they can send me. Yet they continue to report to Experian that I had a charge card with an unpaid balance of $1200 that they charged off in 2002. I am infuriated with Bloomingdales. My family has been customers with the company from the early 1980's
I was not sent a bill and they sent the debt to a collections agency. When I confronted them with this issue and when they looked up my information on the computer they realized that they lost the best customer, i have in all my years always paid the bill in full. I joined lifestyle fitness in June of 2007, I was told I had a year contract and at the end of the year I needed to write them and tell them that I wanted to cancel. In April, May, and June 2008, I wrote life style fitness to inform them I wanted to cancel my contract. I received no response and each month 40.00 was deducted from my account.

In May 2009 The Rewards Company called me with an offer of a 'free' cellphone if I take out a Topup49 contract for 24 months. The Topup49 contract was at the time on promotion for R20 only instead of R49 so I agreed to it. Since June 2009 I have been billed R49 every month, resulting in my dedicated debit account being stripped of funds due to overcharging.
